  1. Mine prefers a Willams T22 wide back. She doesn't really get on with the floating bridge of the butterfly 2.
  2. CS44 is an interesting unit. I'm sure when i did the training you could use any size saw you wanted rather than the standard 15" bar. Which is good because you don't really get any training on bars bigger than 18". There is a lot of overlap between CS32 and CS33. If you fell a medium tree you should be able to fell a large one. In reality it's a bit harder than that but it's mainly experence that is the key with larger felling. Standing stems i was taught you could make the face cut a bit deeper to change the centre of gravity slightly. With the windblow CS34,35 & 50 there is a hell of a lot of overlap but it is just good refresher training.
  3. Good machines Doskos. Local firm has a 9" one and it's a beast.
  4. Where about it Surrey?
  5. Bandits are bomb proof. I'm demoing a 150XL in the next few weeks.
  6. I want that! I've got a Stenner 41 (which looks like the saw there) but i want all the extra gubbins to go with it.
  7. No grab, damaged boggies and a slightly fire damaged cab. Grabs are cheapish some fire damage is ok but the damaged boggie could just be a money pit.
  8. I know Wilsons put a Botex 560 on a Fast track a little while ago. Why not find out who they did it for and talk to them? I have thought about a fast track epsecially with the 4wheel steering. That would be useful. Downside is the price of said fast track and there seems to be a love/hate split over them. There was one that use to turn up around my way (which i'm guessing was Ashman's) but that disspeared a few years ago. If you just want one vehicle why not put the crane on the mog? Could even take the roofmount off the Valmet and have a mount and stablisers made up for it.
  9. A guy down the road has two of these.
  10. That is amazing.
  11. Yes they did. If you go on their website you can read all about it; if your sad like me.
  12. I know your Navara is new but check the idicators make a buzzing noise to indicate the trailer indiators are working or you have a light on the dash telling you they are. A guy i know got turned away with his L200 at the test centre as it didn't make a buzzing noise.
  13. I have an 07 Navara Outlaw. Been impressed with it so far. It's massive inside and the rear seats fold up so you can put stuff in the back of the cab. The load bed is very big too. I have it as the nissan garage is about 2 miles from my house. So service and parts are very local.
  14. Fantastic.
  15. Same.
  16. My appoligies it is 4wd the front tires are cleeted. Loading might not kill it as long as you don't pick up too much. ]Does you plan involve buying a big valtra with a crane on it. If so that is s good but expensive plan.
  17. The emphasis really is on the road driving. You have to do an off road reverse an emergency stop and a hitch/unhitching. Which is about 15mins of the hour test. The rest of the time it's out on the road i was fine on the trailer bit i failed on the driving bit (not looking long enough in a mirror). Passed 2nd time though. The other guy on the course backed over the trailer and failed on that:blushing:
  18. If you can put the skidding winch on the crane tractor you winch, skid and load all with one tractor. Only have to get out to unset the chokers. Unfortuantly that tractor looks like 2wd and if your skidding its more than likely no good.
  19. Not had a Husky one yet. Currently got a Bacho one despite being in feet only and made of plastic its held up very well. No problems with it and it was very cheap.
  20. Thats the funnest thing i've hurd all day.
  21. This will help http://www.ustape.com/stores/u/ustape/images/NeoSet_M1/Instructions%20Model%20950%20975%20900.pdf I've got a few to change i hate things withs springs and tiny screws. They normally unwind go everywhere and break.
  22. If you chipping 8" material with 60hp you'll see a lot of no stress kicking in. Ifs just brashy stuff you should be ok.
  23. Thats been up before. I can't make up my mind about it comes with a spare gearbox, stearing, clutch makes me think that its gone pop or is about too. Crane is a little short and i doubt it will lift more than a tonne close in. For 2.5k though it may be a fun toy.
  24. What about milling it your self? Or getting it milled and build it yourself.
  25. Happy Birthday cheif.
