A couple of years ago, a GreenMech customer had a duff bankers draft given for a machine that he delivered to Coleshill too. Dave, I wish you every success in getting it back. I wish the people get caught and suitably punished, 200 hours community service would suffice!

My Samsung tablet recently did an upgrade - it is a year old now, and I have to "unable" Javascript when on ArbTalk as it freezes then gets out of internet to the homescreen. No hassle now that I found out what to do - but boring trying to work out why....

I used to tickle my saw bench blade with a mill saw file and had the tool to put a bit of kerf into it too. It would get a proper tension and gullet from a local saw doctor every few years and I would be able to follow his angles for a long time then. If you do it well, then the rotational balance remains more or less the same - take off as much with the left as the right, just like a chainsaw chain!

Your first step is to talk to the supplier. If their worth dealing with then a mutually acceptable conclusion should be a discussion away. I don't think that the finance people will get involved as they only produced a solution to you acquiring a machine of your choice.

Send me the number and I'll look into it. The programmable thing is easy enough to do if you get hold of Nac and Jason, but, it is someone elses machine so get their consent first.

There has been an issue with cold starting on some of the Mark 2 machines which appears to havr been cured by fitting two NRV's into the system. Not all engines have them or need them. If you have one that struggles, call your supplier and get them to confirm it with the factory. Guards/covers are available to cover the buttons, this prevents buffoons knocking them off or water getting in through capillary action. I'm trying to get a loan machine for the OP to try, so he can have it for a couple of days, it is a difficult time of year because of holidays and shows but I'm on it.... I have to say mind, it is a cracking machine - quick across the ground, it's ability to get to places that other woodchippers cannot, big engine, big opening, programmable no stress device, slingable, optional winch, optional electric hydraulic pump, built with finesse in the midlands! Have the factory tour!!!

Alastair Thomson, the GreenMech Area Sales Manager for Scotland and the North of England, and his wife Lyndsey had a baby boy in the early hours of Saturday morning. Alfie Robert Thomson was born at 04:50 and weighed 7.2lbs, both mother and baby are fine. Al is recovering at the bar! (he wishes) I would like to take the opportunity to wish all concerned my heartfelt congratulations, an opinion echoed by all at GreenMech, and their friends and acquaintances in the Arboricultural circles within which, we move. Here is to Alfie Robert of Clan Thomson!

That is a sweet ride! I've got the SD1 lump in my Hot Rod, albeit with bigger carb, better manifold, lumpy cam and tubular out to help it. Nowt better than a V8 on cam!
