  1. 10th GreenMech as found.
  2. This is the 10th GreenMech ever made. Dragged out of a barn near Glasgow and sent back to GreenMech for restoration as part of our 20th Anniversary and 50 years of manufacturing on the same site by the Turner family. Erm... finger error - pictures to follow.
  3. GreenMech will have a CM220TMP on the stand of Chandlers Farm Equipment at the Rutland show which is Sunday 2nd June at Burley on the Hill. Chandlers will also have Kubota groundscare equipment and Massey tractors on the stand too.
  4. GreenMech, along with Golf and Turf Machinery, will have a stand at the Yorkshire Game Fair this bank holiday weekend. On the stand will be a CS100, a QuadChip and a SafeTrac 1928. Staff from Golf and Turf will include Chris Barnacle, Allan Gray and Glen Sawyer and Peter Bagguley from GreenMech will be there on the Sunday too.
  5. Thanks for the kind words Roger, we enjoy it too. I'll post some photos of the visit the previous day when I get chance. Their will be more factory tours in the near future too....
  6. Get On Kev! Top job! Hope it takes. Best of luck to you.
  7. This looks more like a GTM or a Tigerspeed.
  8. I should have gotten to your stand at the Newark Show to see this machine but the rain prevented me!
  9. Double click them, keep the file then view.
  10. The 10th GreenMech ever made is to be restored after it was discovered in the barn of the original owner. It is being restored as part of the celebrations of 20 years of GreenMech and 50 years of machinery manufacturing on the same site by the Turner Family. Tony Turner, the Chairman of GreenMech, sold this machine to John Meickle of John Meikle ( Contractors) Ltd from Neilston, near Glasgow back in December 1995. It is still with them although an engine disaster a few years ago meant that it was parked up in the barn where it remained until a phone call revealed that it is still there. It will soon be collected and returned to GreenMech where it will be restored - trying to keep to original spec where possible. Photographs will be uploaded as the work progresses but these are the type of brochures that were available for distribution at that time. img-509121826-0001.pdf img-509121037-0001.pdf

Hey Mike, love the tree across the lines! Say "Hi" to you Dad for me and Happy 40th whenever it was.
  13. Nice work Pete, I always found that commercial bodybuilders built trucks for builders and did not understand tree people.
  14. I think a winner has been found! Well, sort of...... Number 10 was discovered in the barn of the original owner! I'll start a thread as she gets dragged out and what happens there after..... Kore detailsnto follow......
  15. I had a TD4 Commercial, did over 140k in under 3 years without issues until the clutch went then some dodgy repair did a drive shaft and we got rid.
  16. I do wish that who ever loaded and strapped it would learn what to do with excess strapping! It offends my OCD!!!

  22. I wrote a "thanks" email to a garage that helped me out recently. They deserved it and after seeing comments in here about staff at GreenMech, I appreciate the value that a few words can have. Well done Sir! Is the kindred spirit going go get a phone call?
  23. PeteB

Who uses them and a rough idea of cost? Upsides and downsides?

    Jokes???

I just had to explain Google search and Google images to my Mum..... "Just type in anything and it will find it", I say. "How about a nice cream pie?" She says.... "Except that?", Says I.....
  25. I have a pack of cards which have a slight taper, the old "pick a card" routine still works with the unknowing!
