  1. Up and away to do my thing down south. Then drop chipper off at HQ. Seeing folk in Cumbria tomorrow and then done for the period! Best get thinking about Xmas then! Chaps, Unease.
  2. Urm, wouldn't do potato curry either! Respect your views etc and have enjoyed meatless meals but just feel incomplete afterwards.
  3. Jase is sorted with a good spot, with folk he knows and close to home. They really wanted him to join them and respect his views and principals. Epic result!
  4. Following the acquisition of a major shredder franchise, possibly the best in Europe, Doyles have an expansion plan with a parts hub and workshop in the West Yorkshire area and are looking for Sales and Service folk for Scotland too. The advert is still being formulated but here's a link; https://doylemachinery.co.uk/vacancies/
  5. I've managed 63 years without a Yam curry and believe that I'll go a few more years without the delicacy!
  6. Tom out so can eat a stir fry, chicken, bacon, shrooms, Brussels, courgettes, leeks and rice! Sweet!
  7. Morning All, supposed to be foggy and I'm on the patch today so be careful if you are out driving! Soon be the weekend! Bust, Turk, Eaten.
  8. At home today. Got to start to tidy up for the break. Still got people to see and business to do so miles racking up at a rate of a K per week. Still raining out and was awful at times yesterday. Be good y'all! Tin, Dab, Hocks.
  9. Does sound blustery here. The forecast was awful in the North West today! How many have this as the last week before the break? Away down to Gloucestershire Wiltshire today. Might even nab a tea at Jase's on the way back! Be good folks! Roar, Nib, Aga.
  10. Had sausages, baked tates and coleslaw. Sweet. Still arguing over Xmas arrangements....think we will get away next year, no argument, no dietary needs, no hassle.....
  11. Chin up, chest out, be strong and you'll come through this! Think happy thoughts and of the good times to come!
  12. Awake too early after an unsettled night. Winter quilt is too big and might go back to summer job! Good luck and fair fortune to thos in the wet areas! Enjoy your Sunday. Gang, Numbs, Tile.
  13. Morning All. She fetching the brew just now, weather says fine today. Off to watch Lincoln City play Loughborough Uni. Caz is teamed with a yoof half her age to do a Hydrox next month and he plays for Lincoln. Enjoy whatever you are doing today - best wishes to Pompey, I'll look at results later! Warder, Buff, Hello.
  14. Les, we worked for the Turner's, you are lucky to get the steam off their waste.....
  15. Morning Team, enjoy the Friday and enjoy the weekend better! Be good y'all. Partial desk day today. Mark, Bowling, Auntie, Wrecks.
  16. I agree. I had a V6 Ranger at GreenMech and that was a better ride and more/smoother power delivery and a great gearbox. The Toyota is a tad agricultural but it works well enough. Ineos did tell me that fitting a taco wasn't doable which kind of kippered that idea of towing etc!
  17. Up and getting sorted for sales meeting. Was incredibly mild yesterday, when I left the house, dawnbwas just starting, not a cloud in the sky and it was 10 degrees! Got to 15 at some point yesterday too! Think the same out now! Be good and return home safely! Delhi, Gait.

    New Hilux.

Sorry Rich, I assumed at the mpg it was a 2.8, but it transpires that it is a 2.4.....
  19. Actually, it seems that my Hilux is a 2.4. I too, are surprised!
  20. Tom started going to the gym at this time in the morning, must be target rich environment! Sounds still out, best get a cup of Yorkshire finest. Be good y'all! Ure, Ayah, Heap.
  21. Nowt to say. I left for other reasons but was happy enough with the majority of the folk i worked with, was previously an owner of two of the brand and wish the staff at Greenfab well. It is hard not to get bitter and twisted after all that happened (or didn't) during my 27 years there and I'll always look over that fence too. But, my time there is done. Jensen (the factory) have always been awkward to deal with. This current patch of difficulties is not helpful for those who want to buy them or are already an owner or dealer. Every brand has its idiosyncrasies, as does every dealer/supplier. Hint....if you buy a machine and have issues, call the sales bloke. He had your commission and wants your next order, if he is any good, he will move heaven and hell to sort your issues. If he has any spine, he will 'sell' his own product/organisation without slagging off his opponents or their wares..... I think the lecture ends here.
  22. I thought that they went in to Admin as a co owner wanted out. A new owner was found but yes, supply has been hit and miss at best. I heard that Field and Forest had a delivery postponed from February to November over supply issues and the main rep has gone across to Groundcare as he was tired of dealing with the poor situation etc....good luck to them, decent machine but poorly supported from the manufacturers.
  23. Dangerous for new Dad's, up at night feeding the bairn and scrolling through machinery listing's looking for something to buy. Be careful Stevie! Up, had the tea, away down south to see people with big chipper hanging off the truck! Be good folks. Hoe, Mad, Dress.
  24. I've got a 74 plate Hilux which has got 3k added in a month. Impressed with the mpg out of the box. 29 not towing and 22 towing a 3150kg Ufkes chipper. Pretty well all on the cruise control. Bit agricultural in some ways compared to V6 Ford but it has done the job so far! BTW, 2.8 diesel, 4 banger.
  25. At the deskthen out casting my net apart from Thursday when we have a sales meeting! Be good y'all! Summon, Lyre, Cue.
