  1. There was a red sky last night so I reckon it will be another fine day! I'm rebuilding a Felco 3t Rotolift for fits and giggles- doubt I'll ever use it again but it is no use siezed! The homemade soup i had made for dinner seems to have fermented somewhat. The ensuing wind could have matched the fireworks set off last night! Be safe y'all! Real, Just, Ate.
  2. Got to be brutally honest. I know I was a GreenMech rep for 27 years, but, if you tried to trade that for something else, I'd allow £25 in the deal for nothing to do with it! Everything has it's place in the market but I would not give it yard space. Buy cheap and buy twice. Support a European or English manufacturer rather some distant folk who dont supply the industry or support it with warranty or support.
  3. Morning Team, rained a fair bit yesterday evening but is dark and still now. Way too mild for a November! Be good and safe today! Chew, dozen, Stewards.
  4. Chicken, bacon, leek, egg pasta covered in a honey and Dijon flavoured white sauce!
  5. Morning Team! Rain here later, pottering in the garage and cleaning the car. Be good today! Jay, War, King.
  6. I could believe that! Tbh, a Discovery isn't a big thing but, they are capable and powerful! Find a good one and you'll love the brand. Get a bad on on and it could cost plenty but parts are available!
  7. Afternoon snooze is now keeping me awake! Bus, Hic, Hull, Peddle.
  8. I hear that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is likely to have his Navy rank pulled too. I wonder if Two Tier Kier has the stones to take all the privileges away from Mandelson or has he the spine to stand up and return them voluntarily? Or Tony Blair got the humility to apologise to the nation for inflicting the turd on us!
  9. A bit beery, we went to pub then carried on watching rugby and eating supper late. Enjoy your day! Hopefully, not doing much today. Millet, Hairy, Cross.
  10. Morning Team! Domesticity and rugby international on the box hopefully! Enjoy your weekend! Height, Reason.

  12. Really dont know how I did it! Must have another look.
  13. Said in an Andrew Sachs Spanish accent, "I know nothing!"

    Beer prices?

Caz and like a couple of pre supper drinks in The Brewshed in Retford, a round is usually sub £13. Went to Perry Street Club near Chard and two and a half San Miguel's and a glass of red was £15.70! How much is pub drinks near you?
  15. Cannot beat a good latch!
  16. Not a lie in then! Awake and listening to the boards creaking as they get up. Could have done with another hour! Get through the day safely and return to your families safely please!
  17. How do you change it apart from ask Mr Bulman? Sone drink and hard times later, in bed. Just in case I have a lie in to accommodate the old folk... Sin, Hug, Hock.
  18. Ufkes Greentec have a head office and factory in Holland and another spot in Germany! I also got Ragnartec to sell which is a huge, arctic sized chipper!
  19. I can now officially say that I've been appointed by Doyle Machinery to sell their Ufkes Greentec offering. Further details to follow. I always thought highly of their kit so will be a pleasure to represent them! Thanks for all the messages of goodwill received from a variety of folk since I walked away from GreenMech after a 27 year position.
  20. Traumatic day yesterday and more of the same today! I've told my loved ones to put me in an institution if I get the condition too! Walk away and don't look back! Charmouth beach or some such to occupy a couple of hours. Be good y'all! Pull, Liszt, Surprise.
  21. Another day of trying to entertain Mum or at least, steer her away from things which get her annoyed! I made Lasagne last night and she insisted on getting it out of the oven her way and dropped it! Good job only a little went on her and not all was wasted! Tile floor made the clear up easier.....possible fossil hunting at Charmouth today and written job offer should arrive too. Just going through the motions, original start day has been delayed because the new truck won't be ready! How's your new truck Mick? Bruise, Forth, Scythe.
  22. Clearing and blustery here, most of the leaves on the field maple that overhang my garden are about gone now and not all in my garden! Off to Tytherleigh near Axminster for a few days so will get a couple of visits to Charmouth looking for fossils if the weather stays fair. Mum's dementia is making Dad's life right challenging, it is a truly awful ending...... Man, Ova, Bored.
  23. Cooked a ham, crackling not over good mind. Eat some tonight, leave Tom some for during the week and freeze a load of slices for 'Ron.
  24. Up and planning a day of occupying works, plenty to do as I said I'd visit the old folk so away from tomorrow until Friday! Blustery out today - be careful in the woods! Parr, Further, Course.
