  3. Off to Romford today. Bar, Sol, Owner.
  4. An Uncle bought a truck at Ruddington. That came with undisclosed cargo which turned out to be a load of motorbikes!
  5. I confess that I've never seen one going. But they must be monumentally slow at 540 if they okay in 1000! What is the infeed speed like in 1000? When a customer of mine tried this (inadvertently) with a CM220, he had to throttle back the rollers or it was too fast and got dust out of the infeed plus boiled the oil!! My own CM202 was on a 125hp Unimog and I ran that at 1000 speed to reduce fuel consumption, noise and wear and was ace!
  6. If you run anything in 1000 speed, it still has to run at the same speed to ge efficient but the engine rpm will be a lot less.
  7. Morning All. Sent her downstairs for the tea. Hive, nothing.
  8. I looked at Multicar and an Aebi truck similar but their road speed was pretty poor tbh. Payload wasn't over good and the cars were cramped. But, everything has a place in the market and they did seem to have a fair number of such vehicles on Mascus or Agr Affaires but all in Europe!
  9. Tea, crossword followed by household chores then 4yo old grandson coming to play with train set that I've never touched in 20 years! Torque, allowed.
  10. Rigger, Mortise. That's as far as I got time this morning! Will look later. Enjoy your day folks.
  11. Morning All. Sioux, Doe, Coo. Can never do those and only done a small bit of crossword today so far!
  12. Don't start them off, they just love a good crisis to manage! Common sense rules....
  13. I see to recall a chipper demo with the National Trust some 20+ years back and they had had a professional examination done which did confirm that the fumes were dangerous enough to cause headaches and nausea from standing over a chipper on a still day!
  14. Here! Wench's fence gone added to the list for next weekend! Not looked at crossword really.
  15. Brick, kerb, rack. I'm up, crossword was unaccountably easy today!
  16. Opened a box of Chardonnay and watching shite on the box while both of us are looking at smaller screens! Typical night! Was going to the Hallcroft Tap after supper but had a quick bout of "cannot be arsed!"
  17. Many Happy Returns! I'm in. Hissed, Oracle.
  18. In a hotel in Dunfermline, light snow dusting, awake thanks to a car alarm..... Struggling with crossword- once I find the level, I'll be on it! Goat, wrecking.....
  19. An ex-colleague had that done twice but was told that it wasn't wise to have it done again!
  20. On reflection, I reckon the AC pump drive has gone. One of our Service guys, Raf, is BMW trained tech so he will look into it!
