  9. How many times have folk been on his land with no comeback. Well done to him to tie both up, load them up and drive to town! Give him the freedom of the town and toss the others in the stocks!
  10. Struggle to sleep well on this trip! Premier Inn have done up this room and it is smart and comfortable but been awake several times tonight! Another decent day weather wise and some good work done too! Will have done most of the crosswords I like by breakfast but forgot to bring Yorkshire teabags! Mass, Cur, Raid.
  11. Morning Team, drove the truck and trailer to Glasgow and now a tour of the patch and back home on Friday evening! Abut, Earl, Gust, Hello.
  12. I'm intrigued, have you a link? I like the idea of the branch logger as a way of potentially using the waste as a fuel. If you say, a bale burner boiler and the space to store the produce as it drys, just open the door and shovel the load in! But the units I have seen do not have a rotor at all. I get what you say about credit card refund. I did it with a used car which had faults, I did loose money but I got the purchase price back and the satisfaction faction was immense!
  13. I wonder if the blokes family will retract their bile about him being picked on by coppers and say what a babe he really was?
  14. Gotta say this doesn't sound like a branch logger but some sort of chipper if it has a flywheel? Im not sure about the self assembly bit either? If it fails how much warranty have you got? How would you return it? With no instructions, how do you know if it is right?
  15. 1st Base, my dealer in Wigan, is a Messersi dealer and possibly I porterage d that looks good kit but probably pricey!
  16. Bugger, been awake an hour so today's drive north to spend a couple of days in Scotland will be tough! Keep safe team! Mow, tub, Hikes.
  17. Half them and do a stir fry!
  18. Left over pork, chips and Brussels!
  19. Morning Team! Have a good week Yall. Deal, Ears, Myth.
  20. Wet in Retford. Got a head on today several pints deep before a bottle of red and a couple of large vodkas putting the world right! Daughter and grandson coming to mine for a roast today, a difficult day ahead. Kingston, Ninja, Maker.
  21. Morning Team! Wet here until dinner I reckon. I've to fetch two cages of barn dried, barrow then up the path and stack by her house but currently in bed with a cup of Yorkshire's finest and getting a head start on the Telegraph puzzles! Hatfield, Chewed.
  22. Hurrah! TGIF! be safe out there! If it wasn't for the colour of the trees, you could be forgiven for thinking it was spring out there! Yell, Oast, Own.
  23. Ownership is a bit of a trial tbh. Truck was/is good but been let down by Ford. It was about the time of the above post and there was a tell tale of an oil leak on anything I towed. Not enough to get worried over but a leak all the same. The local folk said it needs doing but they didn't want the job as there were a grands worth of special tools needed and they didn't expect to use those again. A Ford Commercial garage agreed to do it while the first service was done. Mid July it went in with 12,500 on the clock and has been there since. They pulled the engine and to cut a long story short, replaced a seal in the camshaft but putting it back together, a thread pulled and Ford instructed them to fit a new cylinder head. They are on back order. Mid July until now to get a head. It gets to the dealers and it isn't the same as the unit they pulled! I got a loaner though. One Transit had no AC, Bluetooth or satnav. The next Transit had Bluetooth and AC. I had an L200 which needed a NOX sensor, then a flat tyre revealed that the spare was stuck to the body. An Isuzu utility arrived and I got to be honest, it is a gutless, rough old ride! I miss the power, the comfort, the driver aids, the auto box and the smartness of a new car! Mind you, the gearbox in the wenches Evoque needs changing and that has been waiting for a box from ZF for longer!!
  24. Fried lamb neck fillets, mash, cabbage, leeks and peas with my speciality, lumpy gravy! Made to the sounds of Barber's Adagio, Air on a G String, Tocato and fugue, maybe a little Pastoral too?
