1. Godfrey's, the GreenMech dealer for the South East of England are having an open day at their Hailsham branch on the 9th October. It is based around their Arb and Forestry kit and I'm told that everything from log splitters, chainsaws, GreenMech woodchippers is available for demo! Timed at 09:00 to 19:00, food and drinks will be provided. GreenMech are sending the Wagon and Drag loaded with demo kit, so you will have the choice of chippers! Martin Lucas, the Sales Director and Julian Cullis the Area Rep will be on hand as well as the chaps from Godfrey's. Godfreys Lower Dicker Hailsham East Sussex BN27 4BG
2. Having fun with hired cars! Drive it like you stole it!
3. I may well be wrong, but surely a Laimet would heed more than 26? Especially when doing thicker material as they don't have roller infeed but do have corkscrew feed!
4. Is that the non compliant machine on ebay? Runaway quick and save your money and embarrassment!

Jokes???

We call my Grandad who is 101, Spiderman. Not that he has any special powers or anything, it is just the way he struggles to get out off the bath!
6. Hey Stewart, the GreenMech EC150TMP may fit the bill if the CS100 TMP doesn't do it for you.
7. Hey Will! Where abouts are you? Go to our web site and find your nearest dealer, then go to the bit about who is who at GreenMech then call the rep and ask them to drop by for a chat. The southern rep, Julian Cullis, will be at the Weald Woodfair in Sussex this weekend with a rake of kit if that is any help!
8. Good Post Stewart, thanks for giving the heads up to others with rose tinted glasses. Very best wishes.....
9. While you are getting quotes for your new chipper, ask Godfrey's for a quote on a GreenMech 130, I was surprised at the performance and I work for them! Throughput was bloody good and the letterbox opening could take more knarly brash with ease. Well worth a demo....
10. Advertise it and treat yourself to a new one!
11. Congratulations Steve, an award truly deserved to you and the other mods for running a well informed, well intentioned, trade specific forum. I feel humbled, yet proud, to have been a member for a few years! Keep up the good work.
12. Why compare machines that are not in the same bracket? Forst, Timberwolf, GreenMech, Bandit etc dont really share a common spec. 6x8, 6x9, 7.5x11, 7x12, 34hp, 35hp, 45hp, 50hp, 750kg, 1100kg,1200kg,2200kg, etc.....fixed base, turntable, tilting base, SafeTrac, TVGTR, Spider..... On a spares note, ask your dealer to have it sent direct to you, you still get next day delivery. If you got a gripe, phone they dealer principle or get hold of your GreenMech rep, his number is on our website.
13. Gammies are pleased to advise their demo event will be taking place at Edzell Base on 18 & 19 September 2013. There will be approx 20 stands, with all machines on display including, Hog Roast, buffet and refreshments will be available to all. GreenMech will have a range of machines there and Peter Bagguley and Alastair Thomson will be present. Further site details will be available later.
14.
Hi, a call to the GreenMech service team of Mac and Jason on 01789 400044 would resolve it! I'm pretty sure that the bottom anvil has a chamfer on each end and is effectively wedged into place.

Jokes???

So I woke up in hospital after my accident with a sexy nurse bending right over me. She says, "now then, you cannot feel anything below the waist." So I just grabbed her tits!
16. Is the spec close to Boxer and Vermeer? The smooth tracks seem a strange idea too, or is that just for trials?
17. Everything has it's place in the market and I'm sure that the Bearcat range have been good to some people. Consider this though, what will they be worth when you want to trade up to a mainstream machine? Who is the local dealer for spares or service work? Will it be capable in fulfilling your needs for long? If it ticks your boxes, place your hid and I wish you much pleasure with your purchase! Usual rules apply, ask the seller for the serial number and contact the original/local dealer, do you research, visit and try the machine and don't get auction fever!
18. Let me know of the serial number and I'll check the provenance if you are at all unsure. If you feel you need to talk, call me on 07774 282481. Cheers.
19. A couple of years ago, a GreenMech customer had a duff bankers draft given for a machine that he delivered to Coleshill too. Dave, I wish you every success in getting it back. I wish the people get caught and suitably punished, 200 hours community service would suffice!
20. Before and after pictures? well done for doing it too....
21. Too far for me! Might get to the drag racing at Shakespeare County Raceway tho!
22. My Samsung tablet recently did an upgrade - it is a year old now, and I have to "unable" Javascript when on ArbTalk as it freezes then gets out of internet to the homescreen. No hassle now that I found out what to do - but boring trying to work out why....
23. Will, sorry to hear you got turned over, nowt appears safe or sacrosanct.
24. Hey Pete, A "round robin" email has gone out to all the GreenMech dealers to make them aware of your loss. Good luck with the loss adjuster....
