  1. Could be interesting grain in that butt length! Don't let it go for logs please.....
  2. Try Dan aka Monkey Business.
  3. Thanks Matt, as a previous post says, any bother is best followed by a call to Mac or Jason on 01789 400044 and press 2!
  4. I had heard that Jensen would no longer deal with Redwood with either parts or whole goods. They would have to source parts from another outfit if they were not a generic item...
  5. Is this one of the Chinese built jobbys? Is it CE compliment? Sorry, not taking the rise but.....
  6. Is there one? I am looking for a regional list as I want to buy a lorry load in the round and get it delivered. In my case, not for gain but for the family, with me spending hours behind the log bench for fun and fitness!?! My spot is just off the A1 at Tuxford and load to be sourced from surrounding counties.
  7. Global Sales.
  8. Sorry to hear of the bother. Make sure your security is upped and covered before you replace too much as the scum could well return knowing that you have replaced your gear. Very best wishes for the future.
  9. Chippendale Plant in Leeds are selling off a few from their fleet, including a Safetrac for those in need of one for rail work!
  10. On the same song sheet! I said 5-8mm in and out, mid span on the longest run! Is that in your yard Dean? I had someone after a used one this week.

Spot on! Congratulations to the lad and his team mates....
  12. Used to use the AUS rods an awful lot, and apart from cost, wonder why I don't see more people with sets for use in non OHL work. Back in the day, we used to buy the parott's beak cutter from someone else and modify it to take the loads we used to ask of it! From recollection, I must of had four bags with 30 rods in each..... fact, I wished I still had a set of rods for doing the trees around the wenches place!
  13. The best advice I would give is t buy what your local mower shop are selling, spend as much as you can afford after letting the man know the garden size etc, and whether you are wanting stripes or not.

What a cliffhanger! What a set of matches! Epic! Absolutely epic! Well done all involved and congratulations to Ireland. Well done and good effort from Mr Robshaw and team mates. Shame the end game went against you. Tough luck Wales. Scotland? Thanks for your enduring effort, you had your moments.

    I am back

Glad your back Andy and very best wishes for the future. Good luck with the recovery.
  18. Would you believe it! I won tickets in the Arbtalk christmas raffle to watch Harlequins v Saracens this weekend in the Derby Match and now cannot go! Absolutely gutted!!! Therefore, I have two tickets available, free to a worthy home - even better if they chuck a few quid into the charity pot. Many thanks to the kind donator in the first instance - sorry I cannot go....
  19. Do you deliver? how much for a 20 tonne load to NG22 area?
  20. Glad to hear it! I'll notify the office that they have come home.
  21. I haven't done the math, just relied on the dash. Maybe I'm being a little over sensitive and just have to accept that my cost of sales has changed dramatically. The IX35 I was in did return very good mpg and I used the Sprinter beavertail for heavy stuff and that never went on my figures. My old Rodeo from some years ago seemed to go further on a tank and that had loads less HP and torque. I am now in another 2.2 and ther is a marginal improvement (+3mpg) on Grabbers but I think that it isnt going to loads better. Anyone run the high performance fuels and notice anything?
  22. Rent a chipper from near too and ask nicely to chip it into someone's yard? Ask Nige at N&J trees if you can chip it at their spot?
  23. Steady on! We don't get anything like a Tubby Yorkshire Tree Man!!! And we have to work for it!!!!
  24. Ian, you are a card! Good Morning too you..... Yes, 2.2, which seems to go okay and freshly serviced....Not towing, driving like an old dear in amongst the lorries on a long MWay drag returned 30.1! Towing a 750kg unit on mostly MWay at indicated 60mph got me 26.4!!! what a bag of shshshsh stuff! most unimpressed! I took about 3,300kg of kit to Scotland at 56 all the way to Carlisle and got 15.8 which did not improve my demeanor at all. Anyone report anything on the new style Rodeo or done much with the Amorak? not that we can change now....
  25. As a bodge to keep it going for a while, I'd be tempted to sandwich two bits of rubber stuff between two big flat washers - one inside and one outside and pull them together with a suitable nut/bolt. But to be honest, replace the whole thing! destroy it to get it out and squeeze a new one in with it well lathered with slippery stuff and a ounce of brute force!
