  1. You mean at the handlebar end? Tried the usual - clean, wipe, blow,WD 40 etc....wondered if anyone has affected a manual conversion?
  2. Belt tension is more than likely done by shifting the engine across the floor of the engine bay. Pull the engine out a sit it on a bench. Remove bell housing and the clutch will be bolted to the flywheel. If it is a plate assembly then get it relined. If it is the three section friction assembly, these are seat and slightly difficult to fit but do-able.
  3. Where are you? Look at the TW website and the details of your nearest dealer will be listed.
  4. Update on this. I got hold of the WatchShop, very nicely said to return it for a full refund and agreed that the online description was lacking in vital info. Their returns system does seem spot on with a returns tracked ticket printed etc. Hopefully, all will be good and thanks to their staff for the sympathetic ear. Will avoid Samuals tbh.....
  5. Post a picture of the bell housing, it may be easy, but sometimes it is a lot easier to put the engine on the bench to be honest.
  6. Doh! This does catch out a lot of people. I always say, pull it over by hand to ensure that the drum can freely rotate then smack the red button firmly and pull it up firmly to make sure that it is engaged. Then turn the key! Welcome to the family and post a picture! Have you named it and joined the Wee Chipper Club?
  7. We say that flywheel bearings take 2-3 pumps once a week if the unit is in regular use. Over greasing can cause the grease to overheat and is less than useful. If it has a seal, then you should not Bea able to see the bearings were as a purge bearing has room for the olg grease to flow out. There are many different types of bearings fitted to different applications so check what is needed by the bearing supplier.
  8. Radical!
  9. Caz brought me a Casio Edifice for chrimble as I have worn the last Casio Protrek for the last 17 years and knowing I'm a bit gadgety, got one which bluetooths to an appointment on your phone for set up, alarms and so on. Opens it up and like the look, weight and feel. So well happy.....struggle to connect it to my Sony Aqua - after many attempts over a few days I give up. We go to Samuals who fleece me for £20 to adjust the bracelet and say "yes, we struggled to connect one last week and ended up talking to Casio, here is their number". I phone Casio, when they eventually answer, to be told that is only compatible with iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Note! I pointed out that it doesn't say that on the WatchShop page, nor Casio online and the bint in Samuals must have known this too! WatchShop don't think that I'm fair asking for the return costs and the 20 sobs bracelet cost as they weren't made aware by Casio. Grrr, Rant over......maybe ongoing:sneaky2:
  10. Try you local ground care machoinary dealer, they will have all the contacts in the trade.
  11. Just got my batch. Will see what is in the cupboard to put up a prize too!
  12. I got a HC55 that seems to have electrical gremlins on that complicated forward/reverse control. It has been slightly wayward but we managed last year. Yesterday, I managed to get it moving, via wire wiggling, but it stopped. I cannot seem to get forward or reverse now. Anyone got a Wiring diagram or hints on what to look out for? Anyone converted one to mechanical controls? Right now, I want to get it back into the shed before it blows away!
  13. Humus
  14. Forgot that the shed needs re-cladding! Bugger!
  15. Good view and stripes lawn! Trying to put a new pug engine in a Toro at the girls place and thought that it would be good to do grass but not going to happen.....
  16. Tackle more diy jobs that "I will do that one next weekend!" Decorate New garage door Get hot rod running properly Mend the fence, properly Sort brakes on tractor Put engine in big ride on Build another couple of bays onto barn Burn off heap in field Decorate her place Watch more rugby Take her shopping for her stuff more often Get daughter through car test Will that do for now?
  17. You mentioned a cost o Felixstowe's port, is that in a container or lorry?
  18. 1979 Ford Transit without tipper was in use when I first started, but when we formed the Ltd Co in 1984, my mate a a Renault Tragic van and trailer and brought an ex army Series IIa LWB. These were followed by two LDV tippers when they got retired!
  19. Hazel recently retired from GreenMech after 18 years as Marketing Manager, Sales Administration, Reception and a few other roles! She and her husband, Pete, have gone to live near Mevagissy in Cornwall and we would like to thank her and wish them well for the future. Many GreenMech customers would recognise Hazel as the first person they see on arriving at the GreenMech office or the first person they hear if they rang up! She had a particularly difficult role as she tended to get treated as a PA by many members of staff, and was always very helpful and polite to all the dealership staff who would ring in and ask for help with something. Jade Redding will be starting in the new year, taking on some of Hazel's duties with other, more specific roles being given to other people. GreenMech thanks Hazel and Pete for their commitment to the cause over the years and and hopes that this next phase in their lives brings them further happiness and fulfilment.
  20. All good posts but if you know what make and model you are after, go to that makes nearest dealer and introduce yourself. They should be able to help.
  21. ArbTrak with folding chute, we did some QuadChips with twin bars for someone recently too.
  22. Here is the hopping pink 150! It is off to Switzerland.
  23. Why do you need an extra trailer for a CS100, but not for any other similar sized machine? The benefit in a CS is the bigger opening and high discharge which makes it more usable and the resale value is high, rather than having to cut stuff into a stick and have it spat on the floor.
  24. What about a reasonable forklift? With a tipping skip bucket, good to get in and out of, manoeuvrability, lift and possibly gas powered too. Must be an option on concrete....
  25. Always thought that the Hoss was a decent piece of kit and surprised that I didn't see more of it. Good luck with the sale.
