  1. He was an antagonist & helped perpetuate & proliferate the hatred between republicans & loyalists.
  2. For me productivity is key. I would not buy an economical cheap chipper that did not chip well. Pointless, especially when you consider the fact that modern small chippers are quite economical on fuel, reliable, easy to maintain AND chip well. You need the full house IMO.
  3. Fixed it - the 2100 was as bad. Never a joy, especially trying to start it.
  4. I have done two thinks to improve my 660. Firstly the factory dual port muffler & secondly the large output oiler. When you have run with both is makes a lot of sense.
  5. Thanks Andy, I have bought one from the US.
  6. I usually keep then in straws - cheap protection
  7. If you periodically wipe or brush the swarf off the file they will last a lot longer
  8. This would be some good background reading IMO ; How To File Square Chisel Chain
  9. Thanks Andy. However the part I need is the older trigger - part no. Ends 1000 which as you can see from the pic is slightly different
  10. I was hoping for something a little closer. Thanks that is now an option
  11. Whilst working on a friend 038av, I accidentally broke the trigger & I am having great difficulty finding one. I don't think Stihl stock them now as it is an old saw & I'm hoping someone has one on a shelf or on an old scrapped saw that I could purchase . Thank in advance Pete
  12. The connects can be heavy on fuel in comparison
  13. The fiesta not a consideration?"
  14. Some well balanced picks there. Godd job
  15. Some organised rigging there - good job. Two rigging points works well when it works......
  16. Looked a nice day for a big tree Reg. How you finding the rigging rings in comparison to pulleys or a big rigging block?
  17. Some good work thereTom. Not the nicest tree to tackle
  18. Nice tidy treework. Good to watch
  19. I was pointing out that the AA are becoming more inclusive & that the opinion that only AAC should be allowed to do TPO work would be a retrograde step in there evolution. Pete McSheffrey OakdaleNEltd
  20. To exclude other quality contractors, who choose not to be AA approved from TPO work would be elitist & exclusive. Things that the AA are striving not to be I hope. This new scheme being an example
  21. The introduction of a stand alone accreditation, which is also a stepping stone towards full AA status is a great idea IMO. It will be an excellent tool to drive businesses forward & help them compete with those larger ones around them.
  22. Top job Rich:thumbup1:
  23. Good job Rich. Did I you put a rigging block on each leader & run the rope through both? I try too as the rigging compresses the union.
  24. Or just live next door to the local game keeper like I do My hen run is still very secure & the rats & stoats pose just as big a threat, especially if you have chicks
  25. Some quality work there & an impressive selection of toys too
