sorry for igniting the embers of this old thread but got one of these on the bench. shavt was slightly bent and the lad has put it in the vice and tried to straighten it. i now have it on the bench and can not get it back together and im coverd in bloody silver grease. any help or a diagram would be ace. cheers sean

Thanks everybody. got a budget of around £1000ish. Hopefully going to do the building side(chimney breast opening up)myself but will need to find someone to install the stove in the west yorks(Leeds)area. our house used to have a open fire in it but the fire place has been bricked up so il have to open her up. Just bought a new bike for myself so sort of doing a ying/yang balancing act a'la 'her in doors' style if you get me:) sort of soften the blow when the bank statement comes in nxt month:)

We run three fs410's and never had any problems with them. each has about 200 hrs up and apart from the usual bits n bats thyve been ok. we also run two 9yr old fs400's and these seem to be bullet proof. got stihl duracut heads on with four lines. i must admit i do like the sound of the 4mix engines.reminds me of an old suzuki DR400 i used to have:)
