    560xp recoil

You broke more than the top cover : I will give you the full list when I get back in
  2. Nice Reg - Have a good Christmas
  3. Great pic Mario - gotta head back to Oregon/Nor Cal again this year
  4. If your not prepared to be reasonable financially - just don't do it & enjoy the hols Double time seems sensible for xmas/bank hols
  5. Some decent sized trees there Jim - good job
  6. You can damage them through abuse - what can't be? Great bit of kit IMO
  7. I use both powered & silky pole saws when needed. "I'm sorry i don't have the purity of ethics to climb out further over those those phone lines, I'll just cut the branch from here, using less effort & taking less time" " Joking aside, every tool has it's place - it's choosing the time & place to optimise it's use that is the hard part.
  8. Is that a nimrod? Makes a change for sure
  9. Different Gord If I remember correctly. Bloody big tree
  10. Can see why you did not put that in the " Rate my hinge " thread
  11. It is a cut of convenience for me. I am not skilled enough to use it in a critical situation, despite my increased success with the cut.
  12. How often do you achieve 4" lift with wedges?
  13. Great job Stevie. Always wanted one of these ; Silvey Hi-Jacker Tree Jack | Silvey Chaingrinder - Medford Oregon
  14. 30 pies a day
  15. SIPS make some well constructed kit.
  16. I have had the HH quite a long time now & have tried a lot of variations . The best & most consistent set/up I have found is the original with the beeline. Thinner cord was too twitchy with sry. The vt required too much attention on ddrt & was too agressive on srt & the Knut I found was too difficult to release. Just my finding
  17. We recently changed up to a Bandit after our 250 fell apart. You loose the turntable, but it is a step up in construction & performance imho
  18. I don't understand what you are trying to say.
  19. Great tree work & some smooth climbing/rigging
  20. We do a lot of out if hours work. It's some of the most challenging & least appealing work ever
  21. 5 years is about right IMO. That is 5 years of climbing & working though, not just trimming hedges & shrubs
  22. Nice JohnP, but what's with all the stubs?
  23. Unless they need us, we don not exist, practically invisible. So it follows that, until demonstrated, our skills are minimal also "Ah you cutdown trees" or your a "lunberjack" then is what the majority perceive & unless they know someone within the industry & even then that perception is dependent on the individual. People seldom looks at trees - the may notice them, but never look, so how can they be expected to hold an opinion on them & the people who work with them?
  24. Yup - classic production big saws. if you have room the 088 would be a strong addition
