Defo give NFU a shout then mate. You also have to remember a lot of people probably don’t declare any modifications to their insurers which probably isn’t the wisest move.

We are fast approaching Halloween. Think of, and have a care for, the environment. Don’t buy plastic skeletons. Locally sourced all natural skeletons are much more environmentally friendly.

Tis the season to see Fungi, fa la la la la....
sime42 replied to David Humphries's topic in Fungi Pictures
I tried Beefsteak Fungus once. It was edible, but that's as far as I'll go. Similarities are in appearance only. Best left where they are. That whopper above is the first time I've seen one growing on the ground. They're normally on tree trunks, so no need to kick over any wanted ones! -
I worked out it was roughly between 350 & 450kg, I was very impressed, especially to lift to the side and track. I paid £14700 plus vat for the digger, it was a 2024 machine brand new, 5 years full warranty! More than my cheapskate self wanted to spend but I couldn’t pass up the chance with that cover. Grab and rotator was about 4k inc vat, worth every penny for the better quality parts and Hywels help!

Jase knows some of the historical stuff which we did but got nothing for! I think I did the extracurricular stuff for fun and because no one else was going to do it anyhow! Hard not to get a bit bitter looking back at it!

shouldn't have to ring anybody, any legit correspondence would have relevant genuine info supplied, and if the sons us transaction is to a US address, why are you being contacted in the uk. I'v had this happen before, a parcel is on route from a courier and suddenly an email, text, claiming to be from the said couriers turns up with no relevant information asking to be contacted, I never have answered any of them, and the legit parcel always arrived on time with the tracking supplied. who exactly are you going to phone? not any of the numbers on this strange letter surely?

As above, use dry wood if you can. Most of the tent stoves I see are weekend warriors - 2 night and packed away again - which is handy to also knock the soot of the flue - a weeks use in the middle of winter could be a bit too much for the design. A real good hot fire should keep it clearer - though be aware of chimney fires - but the hotter the fire the cleaner the chimney will be. Do you let the fire smoulder overnight or during the day while you are out and about? Might be an overnight fire is the problem, could try charcoal instead if you need something overnight.

Hi there
I saw a previous post mentioning you do reconditioned stress control units. I have a jensen a530t which has a stress control issue. Its old school so is a fault in the motherboard rather than a separate control unit. Think over time, condensation has damaged it.
Wondered if you guys work on motherboards?
Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Tom

Over the years I used to meet a chap from a nearby road with elderly german shepherd dogs, two sets of sisters. As two of them became less able to walk he would sit in a clearing and throw sticks for the active two. He died very suddenly while working, in March, of a heart failure. My wife took to meeting up with his widow and and soon after one of the white sisters became totally immobile and was put down. I think all but one have a congenital spine problem. One of the black pair succumbed and was losing the ability to stand or walk Last week I was presented with a wheeled frame for her and at the weekend, after a bit of head scratching, we fitted her up, this clip is her on her second day. https://drive.google.com/file/d/12LQeNqevUC1a87Q37lsdxBRW42Oe6Ck-/view?usp=drive_link I'll leave it up for a week or so The wheels are loaned from a charity called WWW.WINSTONSWHEELS.ORG.UK

I'm into that. Prefer my HARS mind, but that would get many people out of a sticky situation

Plus, big biscuits can bounce once then roll right across the road and hit the barn wall opposite. Apparently.

Anyway, I thought about it last night this morning I just passed it on to the biomass firm who took my waste wood. A man’s got to know his (and his machinery’s) limitations.
