  3. Curious if anyone had tried it. Or recommendation on something similar, but weighs no more than 4010.

I have a very large heavy duty commercial polytunnel frame to sell - it was used for valeting cars prior to sale (ie it is massive!). There are 12 ‘hoops’ with bolt down feet, each hoop is approx 25 feet wide and 12 feet high, made of 60mm galvanised steel tube. It comes with all of the braces and clamps etc - nothing is bent or broken. There is no cover or frameworks for doors etc with it. It is located near Nantwich, Cheshire. Feel free to give me a ring on 07970188050 for more info. (I am unsure of the value, but see similar sized new equivalents are several thousand pounds so am taking a punt at £500!) Cheers, Dan

  6. Good work, big hedge and windy day!!
  7. I know . That was the point I was making . PeteB said " did he go off on a light fandango " and I said that was Procal Harum not the Moody blues .
  8. Yes, I'd read that too, am not much of a climber just now else I would be chopping the dead bits off the affected trees to try to slow the spread, have the view to leave them till they are dead and then remove them as this: my wood has too much shade and cover - another project to take out a lot of the dead stuff and let light reach the ground for some natural regeneration and growth. Will be adding some replacement trees in to help things along though. Of course, like BillQ, nowhere apart from the stove for the dead wood to go to.
  9. Youtube will show you anything - burning them out, bulldozers and tractors to pull them out, dynamite, all sorts.... Depends on the situation I think, but it reckons it will work OK
  10. Did more Lasagne yesterday, made my own bechemal sauce, preferred the stuff in a jam jar though! Made a vat of pea and ham soup with yellow split peas. She right rated the soup but it is very windy and I dont need that level of fibre in my diet!
  11. Lime is good firewood, easy split. Bit light like willow when dry but burns just fine.
  12. Morning all, Nice bright day here. Got to cut down and rake up a long strip of wild meadow flowers at home. Have persuaded my wife to help, as they were her project. Think we’ll use long reach cordless hedge trimmers to start then strim after. Happy Sunday

  15. Thanks for your suggestion. Not sure it’s gonna be what I’m after. I need source wood to process into saleable firewood which I can resell through my own business. Appreciate your input though
  16. Yesterday’s tidy up. About a dozen cuts with the 500i in total the rest from the seat.

Chinese hawthorn. A bumper year, like most everything else. They make excellent toffee apples.
  21. Small digression, I got ID on teaspoons once, wouldn't set any store with over 18s policies. (cashier started laughing, asked for ID - I am well past 25 by now - laughed more when she saw my face as she said "It is for these")
  22. curious; what size trees you looking at planting? did a fair share over winter and love it.
  23. Strange, the ferrous stuff that thin are bearing cages, small end cage, circlips and muffler/ baffles. Not sure what else it can be...any helicoils on the top end? I did once get a 346 in that had destroyed three top ends and found the big end cage was the offender. The owner had missed it completely.
  24. Dunno ive might have quoted the measurements wrongly but I do genuinely follow the instructions on the bottle, maybe that was a poor example on my behalf , not being arsey
