This technique works well, whenever we've had to treat Bamboo, over the years. Also, adding some sticky adjuvent to the herbicide mix, for foliar sprays (on fresh growth) helps with results. Unlike with Japanese knotweed rhizomes, I do suspect a VERY thorough session with a decent stump grinder, would likely put an immediate (and very significant/terminal dent) in the Bamboo. You would need to grind down to an 18'' depth, tho ? Any surviving regrowth would be easy enough to dig/spray off.

Blagger talking pure random shite again about Gary Glitter of all things 😂any chance you can clear up that loose end question any time soon 🤷♂️, I’m not sure if you get the no questions before you sort out the aforementioned loose end bit or do you have some form of learning difficulties.

Take a picture of your current paper licence showing your entitlements, there is a story of a police motorcyclist who lost his A entitlement when he changed from paper licence to picture card and there was nothing he could do about it other than take the test again, apocryphal or not.

This is old news but I thought it intesting as for some reason it popped up on my news feed. James Harrison: Australian whose blood saved 2.4 million babies dies WWW.BBC.CO.UK Known as the 'man with the golden arm', James Harrison's blood contained a rare antibody that saved millions of lives. My Mrs had to have anti d injections so this guy may have saved my kids life.

Again thanks for the replies. There was no give in the trunks. Customer agreed to replace it and monitor it every couple of years for adjustment rather than 6 years

I hope not. Their posh friends may want one, and ask for a price. Having the heavy from 20 70’ connies already at the bottom of their large garden was a pretty good start. Some of those lumps are 2’ dia 8’ logs. Loader-tastic!

Any reduction in compressor what ever reason always effects the idle first, so you need to confirm the piston, ring and cylinder are in good condition, it might be interesting if your friendly local dealer could plug it in and look at the carb setting, the L setting is the most telling as to how it is running.

Hi Guys, Unfortunately I had to fell this chunky walnut because half of it was dead. The backside was bleeding heavily and spongy. Anyone any idea if what killed it? I've attached a few pics

Well, when I opened the Ring charger up, hoping to fine a failed fuse or something obvious, since it stopped working with a distinct "pop", the only fuse I found beside the 230V input, was 100% good. But, good Lord, 2 full circuit boards with a shocking( & pun fully intended) amount of electric/electronic components mounted thereto. Cheers Might just buy myself a stupid=unsmart Draper one.

T'was a break in the loom, auto spark £100 cash to sort it. Steady walk to the cafe then walk back along the cut, all over in a couple of hours. Jobs a good'un.

As far as I am aware there is no NPTC or Lantra award for milling in general. Your chainsaw mill would be covered by your chainsaw maintenance and cross cut as the power source. I once did a band saw course which I got sent on and the guy who did it knew less about band saws than milling than I did. He was expecting a little workshop resaw as that's all he sees. A Robinson's resaw and a stenner 41 were too far out his comfort zone so I felt we showed him more than he showed us. So specific training for band saws and table saws exists. As the PUWER requirement would be to show suitable training did you get any from the machinery suppliers. If not maybe see if they could do you something? The other option if a local training provider would be willing to do a certificate of training. Then you have something to show people.
