  5. Sort of answered my own question there, by getting some spanners out and taking the fittings apart. Turns out one end is 3/8" BSP and the other (grab) end is 1/2" BSP. I think. And, in case it helps someone else, these fittings are all female; at one end (bottom of the picture) on mine there's a male to male adapter. Ordered some stuff. See if it fits.
  6. We could reverse our car to the shops, it’s do-able but going forward is just the better way! That’s my thoughts on this.
  7. Stein 16mm offcut from an Arbsurplus rope bag.

  10. Would try new ignition module, I had a 346xp play up last year would bog down and not run nice. After a lot of messing around with carb switched module with one out of another saw and it ran sweet.
  11. Theres two small ponds of stagnant smelly water and I dont fancy a swim, not too much space that way, and I dont have any winching kit. One log, got a slight nudge and rolled into the pond and I havent yet worked out how to retrieve it - could likely reach it with a sharp hook tool as its not too heavy. He did take some larger peices VID_20260131_105942.mp4

  13. Thanks for posting up the photos and details of this (somewhat harrowing!?) job/experience. I won't say anything here about the first chuck-and-run Climber... I am curious, though, to ask you if there wasn't space in the woodland (looking at your very first photo), to do a winched-felling of the entire tree (or maybe with a partially reduced canopy), down the slope -away from the court and photographer? If it was possible, would this not have simplified and speeded up the process (much cheaper!)? I'm guessing it's a 'no' -otherwise you would have done it already -but interesting to hear your response! 🤔
  14. Bit slow on the uptake today. Wordle 1,690 5/6* ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟨 🟨⬜🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  15. Very nice Mike; I like it Jon
  16. Easily done.
  17. Are you totally set on going battery? Quite expensive outlay with charger and batteries. You sound like you know your way around 2-strokes. The Echo 2511WES is a lovely light little saw and will cost less than £400. Will happily run a 12” bar.
  18. That brings a whole new meaning to the term "dirty bomb". There's nowt so queer as folk.
  19. Finally managed to get this design finished in time for Valentines day. Its a Shaker box size 0 but the height of it is a size 1 as in wasnt deep enough to take the ring. Nipped into a local jeweller to borrow a ring for the photos.
  20. Morning, heading to physio , check on mog new rear body fabrication then heading up to do some more Robo habitat work.
  21. Good work Kram
  22. Morning all, Collecting timber from yesterday. Loading it with the minidigger grab thankfully. After lowering and chogging it down yesterday my wrists don’t feel like lifting it at all.

  24. Ah this is the problem with the written word; you may have had a twinkle in your eye, but we didn’t know!
  25. Ah fair enough. My usual method is chuck logs on ton bag of rakings to be honest, smaller trees and all that.
  26. Oi oi then troops . The ground is saturated here . Still raining . 5c .
  27. Embrace it pete its a lovely part of the country. If you are down there over the summer pop the old speedos in the kit bag on a sunday ready for the week. You and jase can give it the old Hasselhoff strut on the beach front. 😉
