  1. Would of bin better to include the name of one of the victims of said break in... Joe Blogs robbed last night, other victims of theft as well, keep your eyes out and ears peeled.... Have tar an feather, sharp knife and noose, please reply if one of the scum caught.....
  2. Nice vid Reg, always a pleasure watching them...
  3. Goin to go out my way here, and make a prediction... That Sam allardyce will win the next world cup...
  4. Give it a break man, he's welding up his equipment.. And, is there any need to to imply disparaging insinuation's against his miss's?... out of order:thumbdown:
  5. My take on the whole situation is that Stefan has a lot on his plate and has done for a while... Stefan copes by working hard.. work is his Yoga, his music to relax to... Now I don't judge him for his actions but I do feel he aught ruminate on his method sometimes.. I feel he aught to understand that sacrificing something(his time) for others/his partner, might well have healing qualities equal if not greater, than grinding out a stump...
  6. A cup of coffee does me first thing, then before I leave the house I decide another ones a good idea.. As I see it, it seems a better idea to make two cups of coffee than faff about cooking stuff first thing of a morning.... not to mention there always a pie shop open somewhere's abouts by mid morning..
  7. See. the thing is Stefan its not always about you, and what you want.. Has it not crossed your mind that your wife might of felt embarrassed sat on her own why all else brought their wives, husbands or partners?..
  8. Yea, I agree.. as a confirmed idle git, it puts my work life history too shame.. Manyana and procrastination have been my traveling companions as long as I've bin put to work.. If on the other hand I was paid to research subjects that catch my interest, I'd be a millionaire by now.. which brings up another point, if we could all find work doin somethin we're passionate about, I recon we'd all be well off..
  9. Nothing like a good rant about the world and the next generations coming up behind us.. "The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers. Socrates..... Seems to me, Goaty has reached the same level of frustration as the ancient Greeks did about their upcoming generation.. Only difference is, the ancient Greek children had to do without playing minecraft with their friends..

    About time!

My take on this affair is that this fine is retaliation for the fines America has inflicted on European companies.. BP, and a few banks have been stung in the past few years by America.. this is nothing but a warning to the Americans that two can play that game.... It also has the added benefit of threatening countries like Ireland who think they can undermine what aught be a fair, across the board tax system for all of Europe... And, All this talk about Ireland having a referendum on Europe to help out a morally bankrupt multinational is tosh.. does anyone with a brain think people are gonna side with a tax dodger as apposed to doin whats right and proper?...
  11. had a pair of those Japanese one for years, best ladders I ever baught.. Been thinking of getting the longer ones as well, I think they're sixteen foot as opposed to the twelve foot ones I already have...
  12. Third carve or not I'm impressed.. After sein a few of these carves I was wonderin if someone had tried out on marble after a while and how they might of done.. The talents certainly out there..
  13. me and a friend were arguing over this the other night, he insisted a tipper aught have double wheels, I said it shouldn't matter if the makers have put single wheels on em, they know what they're doing.. The only thing I could think of, is if your overweight, double wheels would be better..
  14. got my reminder last week, and seein as its raining out, was contemplating getting it done before the days out.. mostly I leave these things to the very last minute, but have come unstuck usin that tactic in the past... So yea, seein as its rainin, might as well make hay why the sun shines so to speak..
  15. a famous painter asked how much it cost to do a painting... for the canvas, a few pennies, for my experience and skill, many thousands.. To whit, the lumps not worth nothin, a carvers skill on the other hand... Not to mention, I'm sure you've bin paid for the job, how much more do you wanna wring out of it?...
  16. just finished doin a strimmin job an was offered a plate of lovely sandwiches.. ham with pickles and salad... they would of gone down nicely but for the the fellas partner loosing her marbles over a feret biting her foot.. Went from accusing her partner of not caring about her, to exclaiming she's about to begin the search for a real man and she might start her search right there and then and throw a bid on your's truly!!!... hahah.. The fella starts off by being as diplomatic as he can be under the circumstances then soon loses patience and tells his miss's too go for it, see if he cares... on it went insults ether way, this way and that, and theres me like a lemon quietly tryin too eat ma butties.... what a carry on...
  17. trouble with getting a knife that sharp, is your scarred of using it on owt but cuts of meat or fruit... I'd rather my knife was sort of sharp and not be scarred of using it.... on the other hand, take a look at the "worlds sharpest knife"... [ame] [/ame]
  18. take five minutes to weld that back on...
  19. Ode too Joy is on the back burner till I can be sure we're stayin in the EU. As to seeing things... When the English saw Haley's Comet they imagined it as a bad omen, William the Conquerer didn't do bad out it.. Its all about how you want to see things... On happiness, its a proven fact that the less choices you have in life the happier you will be.. So its no wonder if people were polled in antiquity, they'd be happier than us in the modern age.. But, would anyone swap this life for theirs ?..
  20. Zulu...
  21. After watchin that vid I need an antidote from the pessimism... [ame] [/ame]
  22. Bin tryin to think what I'd do if it was me havin to put up with an empty head like this neighbor.. An it seems to me its all about context, how aggressive the fella was.. if he looked harmless and was just being a dick I'd tell him to mind his own business and crack on with the day.. If he looked mean an nasty an was looking for trouble, I'd more than likely do the escalating myself by laughing in his face.. No one likes that.. He'd have two choices to make after that, either raise the bar or walk away with his tail between his legs.. Then again not everyones the same and its always better to put up with a nutter like that than provoke the idiot into doin somethin stupid... So listening to the fella then ignoring him thereafter would seem to best thing to do in most cases.. You can always take comfort from knowing somewhere along the line this fella has already been beaten to a pulp or is soon likely to get a hiding anyways.. They attract trouble these types.. and trouble has a habit of finding them out..
  23. His first priority aught to be give up the gum during a match... its the most disgusting thing watching him chew gum... Will Allardyce make a difference though?... Not really, he has the same problem as the other managers.. overrated players with over rated ego's thinking they're better than they actually are.. Not to mention, even if England get on a good run, they're so terrified of winning they end up throwing games so as not to lose in a final.. what a bunch of dopes...
  24. I didn't realize that thread had been taken down.. why..
  25. I like to read the news ordinarily. not as easy to spin it to you when you're reading about events.. And if I take an interest in a news item, I'll really get stuck into the subject.. I mean it might be that I need some ammunition to argue on the subject an I don't want to be making a fool of myself by talking on a subject I know nothing about... Take this Turkish coup, I wanted it to succeed like a man wants to see his lottery numbers come in.... But as soon as I realized that Erdogan was loose on some holiday Island I was livid that these plotters might have ruined things before they'd even got out the traps... Another thing I've come to realize is, it might just be to late, seems the Turks might have crossed a tipping point and are now as Islamized as the rest of the middle east... Might as well side with Assad and fight the lunatic fringe of Islam from its birthplace...
