  1. In case any of you were wondering (or are too young to remember) I present Mickey’s Monkey Spunk Moped!
  2. Leopard’s fanny batter when I can get it, otherwise standard monkey spunk.
  3. Paul, first pic.... did you ask someone to snap it whilst you sat by a tree and made a ‘reflective’ pose? ‘Cos.............you know.
  4. Can’t help Gary, but I hate weekend chipper conundrums. Can’t relax till it’s sorted.
  5. Hours clocks on chippers? That’s 40hrs a year, less than an hour a week. Not saying it’s untrue but be aware.
  6. Maybe time to knock the lunchtime spliff on the head Kevin.
  7. Fair comment on the HAVs. re. Guide bars, they get replaced as and when. I suppose a lot of it is that real forestry and tree surgery (which is what we do) have different demands on saws. Ours don’t work half as hard (and neither do I!):)
  8. Guy who works for me hasnt changed the engine oil in his petrol Peugeot in over a decade.

  11. If it were me I’d be in there tonight. Nothing worse than an issue like that affecting its performance.
  12. Nice looking vizsla. Get some odd looks if he got lost and you had to walk through the woods shouting his name though.
  13. Why did you dismantle that one? Easier to fell surely?
  14. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42953979 Always enjoyed his performance in one of my favourite shows. What troubles me most about the demise of John Mahoney is that when he first played the role of Frasier’s father he was younger than I am now!
  15. Are you grinding a steel cable in second from last photo?
  16. I think he’s worrying about splitting on impact with the ground to affect value, not barber chairing during the cut. Could be wrong though.
  17. I didn’t know anything of John Matuszak but went a’googling....it was quite a life! You know he died 29 years ago though?
  18. Bit left field, but it’s a that story fascinates me. John Tyler the tenth president of the USA born in 1790 has two living grandsons (as of 2016)http://mentalfloss.com/article/29842/president-john-tylers-grandsons-are-still-alive "
  19. I wouldn’t have thought it was worth a penny.
  20. Nice pics Tommy. This not necessarily my fave, but taken at an opportune moment.
  21. It’s not a joke it’s more of a fable. http://www.dictionary.net/fable
