  1. Funniest joke ever at 1.00 minute.
  2. Oiiii Davidson! Nooooooo! (You lot by the way in a nut shell)
  3. What worries me a bit is that every piece of news that paints the whole brexit thing in a poor light is seized upon by those who are bitter about the vote as proof of the folly of leaving. For them the bigger the failure the better in an “I told you so” viewpoint. Not looking for a North Korean type news whitewash, but an acceptance that it’s going to happen and a “moving forward” discussion would be better.
  4. It seems to me that all my social media thingys, FB, instagram, here, The Treehouse etc are all blurring into one.
  5. @Pete B is your man for this. He’ll be along in a while.
  6. Short term pain, long term....? in 10/20/50 years the UK will be a very different place to how it would have been. Good governance will be vital, are you getting that? I don’t know.
  7. Because he wants to look like a pro, not someone who’s got some Argos vouchers for Christmas. Smiling emoji!
  8. Nothing wrong with auto tune or whatever it’s called.
  9. Couple of hundred extra will get you a 550. Brilliant saw.
  10. I like Gary Lineker. Gets paid too much but that’s not his fault.
  11. Thing is for most of us who cut trees down, getting off the job with a chèque in our pockets and a song in our hearts is much better than trying to organise a third party to come and get the wood (who often let us down) for usually little or no financial gain for us. That’s the bones of it.
  12. This has been discussed before, it’s illegal.
  13. I remember working in Chichester in 2000(ish) and seeing the resident peregrines. I think @Big Beech on here has some pictures.
  14. I was back In Wisborough Green recently and saw a kite, amazing really how quick they have come back. Buzzards, kites, hen harriers, short toed eagles, all fairly common here in the Charente. Edit. Used to see Hobby hawks here till the drop in swallow numbers.
  15. In answer to KJ. I can’t see clients caring, or at least a significant proportion of them. For most clients it’s Do the job, Don’t smash anything, Here’s the money, Goodbye. Just the way I like it.
  16. This one has been knocking about for a few days. The general concensus is that he’s freeing a leaner that’s hung up on the tree he’s roped into. Scary.
  17. This is what I (and I assume some others) can see. I’ll inform Steve at some point. no offence intended.
  18. Must be an issue then, I posted a link to the thread 15 minutes before you. Bill Pierce did the same thing as you. glitch in the matrix.
  19. Here you go, pour a glass of wine, put on your reading glasses and fill your boots.
  20. I like the Oregon ones as well, I even framed a few, they hang in the hall.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
