  1. https://www.facebook.com/HywelEvansFabrications/ this guy^
  2. Mine has, but could do with being a bit bigger or have two pieces welded each side downwards to trap the butts better.
  3. Thanks, looks a bit unforgiving for European lawns.
  4. This shows better how a knockabout is used, you think these guys couldn’t afford a rotator?
  5. No one mentioned idiots. I bought a new ST8 and kept my tw150 for a bit, glad I did (few teething troubles) But then taking it out once a fortnight just to keep it going stated to get old and I had things I wanted to spend the three grand on. Anyway there’s a difference between keeping an old one as a back up and buying two!
  6. Cost was not an issue for me, but everyone I talked to here and in the States said it wasn’t needed. One good morning with a knockabout and you’ll see why. Having said that I’ve never used a rotator
  7. I don’t think that’s a good plan at all. Buying two chippers in case one breaks down is daft. Use the other 11k to buy another van, grinder or other money making hardware. If the chipper breaks, fix it and hire one in the meantime.
  8. I’m being flippant of course. All I’m saying is that every time you/one takes on a fell that, if it went wrong, would have catastrophic consequences would, bearing the fine in mind, take the time to.... 1: reposition the pull truck. 2: abandon it because of the wind. 3: get your top man to do it.
  9. Dave, literally hundreds of people have died in my quest to have a hilux with personalised plates and all terrain tyres, nothing and nobody stands in my way, clients, pedestrians even tree officers have all “disappeared”
  10. Yeah, this shows that the American police will shoot any unarmed citizen, regardless of race. How silly do black peeps feel now?
  11. True, mostly just wine tasting, driving a 2cv and advanced béret wearing if I’m honest.
  12. Employment used to be no reply. I see why now.
  13. No, 10 days in hospital in Bergerac, then another month off work.
  14. I broke six in one go when I fell out of a tree in 2013.
  15. This US policeman was found not guilty of murder. What do you think? Some distressing footage as they say. https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c3b_1512717428
  16. Enough to focus all of our attention the next time we take on a fell like that.
  17. I believe Multione themselves have started making them. If not Hywel Evans Fabrications will make them to order.
  18. We’re going to need some pictures of this “stick rake”
