  1. Our stove is only 5kw and stands out in the room. It's probably a question I should've asked before purchase, but can always send it back. It is going around, but not with any speed. Giving something for the dog to stare at, but that's about it. Just lifted the canopy off and put the fan on the stove top and it's spinning like mad now.
  2. Can stove fans be used on stoves with a canopy on top? I have a villager chelsea that has a high top canopy, I know it gets hot, but do canopies get hot enough?
  3. Can't decide between 560xp or makita 6100.
  4. Thank you ?

    560xp

Anyone know what year would be classed as the most up to date for the latest up-grades please?
  6. Roble beech?
  7. Don't think you need to go 560! A 550xp out performs a 357 all day long. Wish I never sold my 357 either.
  8. They are a great saw and love mine. Think they would be a bit overkill on garden maintenance/cs31 type size. 550xp would be more than enough saw.
  9. https://www.radmoretucker.co.uk/shop/garden-machinery/chainsaws-tree-care/petrol-chainsaws/makita-ea7300p45e-petrol-chainsaw-18/ https://www.radmoretucker.co.uk/shop/garden-machinery/chainsaws-tree-care/petrol-chainsaws/makita-ea7900p45e-petrol-chainsaw-18/ Only £20 difference.
  10. One of these, not mine and no I don't know the seller, just using it as an example https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/makita-Dolmar-EA7900-78cc-chainsaw-Made-in-Germany-its-a-Beast/232929269200?hash=item363baa95d0:g:63gAAOSweGxZdbY3
  11. What stove fans do people use and are the cheaper ones quite quiet in operation?
  12. Must have been a top spec landrover they were in?
  13. Lets just see if it makes it to the end of day one!?
  14. Got an old 550xp that you can use if it helps you out while you source something. Now and then it cuts out on idle until warm, but it still makes good power when up and running. A little anti social as the zorst is drilled. Think it could do with a reset or whatever. The offer is there.
  15. Glad I could help Ken?
  16. I do like your little videos. A one man system that works well for you? Letting your dog sleep under the raised pallet makes me a bit nervous though!!
  17. Any way of knowing this when viewing a secondhand machine, knocking or piston slap?
  18. A secondhand one might have done the odd hour then!
  19. Does anyone know how far back in time these machines go please, can't seem to find manufacturing dates online.
  20. Assume your talking about third ring and not third wife that went through the chipper!! ??
  21. 241 is the only saw I regret selling on. Something else to consider maybe https://www.honeybros.com/Item/ECHO_CS-390ESX_Chainsaw

  23. Hang your head in shame
  24. Nice, hope you milled all the components ?
