  1. Looks like there should be one at the front Lawn Mower Parts, Small Engine Parts & Much More! | PartsTree.com - Briggs, MTD, Toro, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Troy-bilt...
  2. Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. I have a 14" SIP bandsaw that needs new tyres (no kwik fit jokes please ) and can't seem to find anything in this country. I could get the blue ones' from the states, but just wondered if anyone could suggest a UK supplier for bandsaw bits and bobs. Ta muchly.
  3. Wind is even stronger now Jon. Wood burner going with a cat in front of it and two dogs asleep under their blankets.
  4. Freezing cold on exmoor today, but dry and sunny. Strong wind has been biting all day.
  5. Fantastic stuff. There must be more respect in the usa, I dare say some scrote would have vandalised it over here, halfway through the project
  6. We have found with the 150, that they need to be flat out before you put them into a cut situation allowing) or they tend to bog down, run rich and foul the plug really badly. As said, give it a new plug and have the carb set by someone who knows what they are doing.
  7. [ame] [/ame] Twin blade looks a good bit of kit.
  8. [ame] [/ame] for the eagle bench. Shouldn't be any import tax from Germany or any other EU country.
  9. Riko UK :: 30-45 ton Pro Contractor Is it this one?

    Tecomec.

I was always told that the Italian piston kits were the ones' to go for out of the pattern parts producers. Have used a few Italian piston/ring kits with no problems.
  11. Chap I worked with had a new echo top handle, the rear eye pulled out and they sent him a new saw direct from japan, no questions asked. Quite fancy one of those 620 myself.
  12. Does that have a chinese engine and if so, has it been reliable?
  13. Mine's a tow along with a 13hp honda engine, driven by a duo-chain. Stalled on a couple of lumps, but pops most things open
  14. Leaving her at home with the 2 dogs, whilst I go away for the weekend to see my folks:thumbup: Commercialised load of old guff, along with Easter, Xmas etc etc, chuck 'em all in room 101! Just my opinion:001_tt2:
  15. Could just be the throttle linkage sticking. Make sure it's all clean and moving freely. On a side note, my 550 is now over 2 years old and all I have had to do is replace 1 brake band. Just recently it has taken two or three more pulls than normal to start. Had it plugged in and master reset this morning and it now starts and runs like new again. Well worth considering if your auto-tune is a couple of years old.
  16. Just split some two year old lumps on my screw splitter. Split lovely and smelt good too. Blooming heavy though.
  17. Well worth having. Look after your hands/knuckle joints as best you can.
  18. According to the advert delivery is included and it's the 13hp model. I will contact the guy you linked to and see if he could get closer to the German price. Would be easier to deal with if there was a problem.
  19. High winds around Exmoor today. Bit of rain, quick flurry of snow and a few bits of hail. Sweating in front of the woodburner, so who cares:biggrin:
  20. Will see what the outcome of the 560 is and go from there:thumbup1: A ported and tuned 560, that will be a total nutter
  21. They are the ones I was looking at. They are £609 delivered from Germany on ebay at the moment. The ones in your link are the same saw but in a different colour and closer to £900 from a UK seller.
  22. I found you need to blip the throttle to let the saw clear its throat before cutting all the time, don't think Stihls auto tune is as precise as huskys'. Not that much cheaper than a 550 and hardly any weight difference and noticeably less grunt. I know it's a 5cc less saw, but in my mind it's worth spending that little extra.
  23. Have you ported any 550xps' and will the auto tune adjust enough for it? What sort of money are we talking if so
  24. There is a lot between them. The 550 is a different animal to the 241. Almost the same weight as each other, but the power difference is huge. I liked the 241 for small logging work though.
