  1. Mine would get suspicious that I had made her a cup of tea, and make me drink it.
  2. It's an unclassified road linking an A and B road. Getting a crew and phoning the police may be the way to go.
  3. Any safety switches on engine covers etc, don't know the machine set up though.
  4. Hope you have asked if you can go out to play Jon?
  5. Yeah right, you are all brave boys on here, but I bet it's all "yes dear, of course dear, whatever you say dear" in reality. Right, I'm just off to do the dishes
  6. Somerset. Have looked on their site, but can't find any details. Whilst waiting to contact them and check it out it could come down any time and cause a fatal.
  7. Can a shattered tree branch that is still attached to the tree, (oak), that is spanning both lanes of a road, not an A or B road, and hung up in branches of opposing trees, be dealt with on the spot without informing highways etc? Can this be treated as a high risk scenario and just be done with a couple of skilled climbers on site and enough decent, road aware ground crew? All hypothetical of course:thumbup1:
  8. The wit brothers, dim, nit and half, love that comment
  9. The biggest shock came at the end......... THEY HAVE BRED!!!!!
  10. Split it, burn it, don't worry about it
  11. How do you mod the needle spring and is it worth retro-fitting a new ignition unit?
  12. That's definitely what we would call a category A tree burning off
  13. Bought it this morning and have just put a tank of juice through it. Quite a nice saw to use. Good nick and seeing as that is the original bar on a 2006 saw just shows it has done very little work. The old chap that had it couldn't start it, so it just sat in his shed.
  14. As I know you wick, I have to say, you sound more Irish when you write than when you talk
  15. Blimey, it's like the tv ad, everything you touch turns to skittles Have you got a copy lathe?
  16. Of course, we will expect another "my new groundie" thread with pics Only kidding Good for you Rachel, you sound like you have a great work ethic and a good attitude to life. You will go far and achieve all you need.
  17. It will be my back up and logging saw. I keep the 550xp for the day job and don't like ragging it on the logs.
  18. Thanks guys, I know of a used one that has hardly had any use going for a good price, sounds like it's worth a punt then.

    ms390

Anyone run an ms390? I know they are not a pro saw, but are they a good firewood saw?
  20. Not poking a snake with a stick by any chance
  21. Sold both these last year. Had the zx for 4/5 years and had gone through it and given it a light resto. Bought the fazer 1000 as a replacement, but sold it after 4 months because I didn't find it comfortable over long distance. Shame, because they are an awesome bike. Oh, and yes I do regret selling the zx. Just been offered a cagiva elephant 900 which might tempt me back in the saddle.
  22. Probably would have hot drinks in. I did wonder if an exterior yacht varnish would be any good, but would prefer a more natural finish.
  23. I'm wanting to turn a wooden mug/cup and was wondering if melted paraffin wax was the best thing to seal it with. Any ideas guys?
  24. Be worth checking the clutch springs. Almost sounds like something is grabbing when the brake is on.
  25. loving this band at the moment. [ame] [/ame]
