1. Hope you like these pics, I love looking at what other people do with there trucks keep the pics coming !!
2. I can't wait to get stuck in to this truck that I broght of Bob, it's going to get a Hiab behind the cab with a log grab, I'll modify the body to suit this set up
3. Here's my truck I use most it's tipper with tail lift the high sides can come off & low sides or low sides n cage put on iv got tie down points inside & out side body the tipper needs raising to allow tool box doors to opened (there's also lockable) the tail lift can be lowered on to neck of chipper for bit of added security, the tail lift can be operated from cab so no need to get out when tipping off, it's got too reverse cameras & to top it off it's a 2.3 petrol with 145 bhp it drives lovely & tight & never struggles, it cost me about £500 to convert / build the body
4. Here's scissor lift tipper body I picked up, body is of no use it was the scissor lifting gear I was afther, the idear is to tip in to skips "railway work" or to lift high then tip a full load off in one spot rather then spread it 20ft across the yard
5. Here's one that come in to my mates scrap yard, it's a 3 way tipping body so will lift straight on any 3 way tipper, it needs a little TLC but is better then it looks it's GRP with ladder rack
6. Iv sent you a PM with my phone number regarding the sale of the truck
7.

That looks a nice iveco 4x4 and a shame to brake it up, what sort of money do you want for it complete ?

8. I know what your saying but buses, tractors & trailers, artic,s all cope with small rural places so I'm not too worried my trucks very wide on arse end tro, I'm using to tow a 36ft 5th wheel caravan but for normal use look at Dodge Ram 1500 / 2500 or Ford F-150 / 250 etc you won't have any towing or power issues plus there's all autos (autos that work) other then that you need a Landcruiser Jon
9. Iv drove one "ranger 200bhp" Jon there very powerful truck they spin the wheels in 3rd in the dry !! Diesel wise there terrible even takin it easy there juicy mate iv also drove the ford transits with the 3.2 200bhp lump "best transit iv ever drove but rare normally only the 4.3 tonners come with that engine !! Any way with all this worry about power maybe you should get a yank Jon iv just brought a Dodge Ram 3500 dually crew cab I'll let you know how I get on with it once iv done a bit of leg in it 5.9 Cummings TD auto 300 bhp
10. Your best bet is to join an angencey as there alway desperate for people with chainsaw certs & thay would be keen to book you on your PTS etc then once you get a start you'll meet people make contacts and go from there Best of luck bud
11. Iv been working on the railway for 16 years now & wouldn't have it any other way, but I work on LUL where you can only work from 01:00 - 04:00 & work in a safety critical roll so don't even work, oh and the money ant bad eather
12. Joel77

How much?

£3500 give or take each way, it will prob take a bit longer to move on as its over 3.5 tonne but there's some one out there who will buy it, it looks a smart truck
13. All my gears owned including my yard so not to bad
14. I'd remove the mesh sides and keep them for resale value and make a new set up from scratch to match the Ifor then get them galv,ed so it looks factory finish, each to there own but if you've got the doe to buy an Ifor tipper then surly a few hounded quid ant a problem it's paid for on 1st job !!
15. Just found this on the bay, 3 way tipper body needs some tlc http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=121727159396&globalID=EBAY-GB My next builds going to be a 3 way tipper so I can side tip and won't have to un hook the chipper no more
16. I'd forget about converting the drop side to a tipper it will be loads of agg and by the time you mount it to a tipper frame it will sit really high, Look for a 2nd hand tipper body on the bay and make it fit your truck you might need to trim it down a bit but if your up a bit of DIY you'll save your self a few quid If converted a few trucks now and find it pretty straight forward and enjoyable Good luck on your build
17. Same chipper again new seller ..... http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=151758492431&globalID=EBAY-GB
18. Yup scam !! Here's anther chipper for sale same thing but diffront eBay account http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=271939741492&globalID=EBAY-GB
19. I'm sure it was on the bay several times a few weeks back & sold for 3500/3900 if gen not a bad deal if all in working order
20. You just have to shop around but here's a start for you..... http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=121145523643&globalID=EBAY-GB As for mounting the winch, there's a small bit of fabrication involved but nothing to worry about, each quad is diffront but in the kit you get a winch plate and that's a good starting point, I used that then knocked up some brackets welded them to winch plate then bolted it to the quad frame using U Bolts
21. We've got the bear claws on our quads too very good tyres, as for winches we've got these ones http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=130930936418&globalID=EBAY-GB So far so good
22. £13,000 wow !! I love the ol toyota,s but his dreaming I also don't think I'd bother running one in the UK when defenders & transits are so available But if you do want one phone this guy and make an offer..... http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=281747734588&globalID=EBAY-GB
23. Just looked at that truck, would make a good truck for some who needs 4x4, if its 4x4 it will prob have 2x4 / 4x4 & diff lock in rear LSD in front
24. I wear this style of boot, like you said very handy pair of boots
