    Lifting Bars

Seems like agg to me, poles chains 2 people etc etc, just get propper equipment to do the job, if I was dealing with pallets I'd get a pallet grab no agg
  2. Iv seen snap on tools make more money on eBay then what I buy them for off the van inclucluding silly things like hats that are £17.50 on the van and £40 / £50 on the bay mad !! Iv got some cheep tools that I leave in the truck and take on jobs but in the work shop it's got to be snap on, I don't think other stuff takes the abouse as well like changing chipper blades hammering sockets on old bolts, changing blunt plyers for new ones etc In my opinion worth the money and it's all tax deductible any way
  3. If your in no rush and Depending on visa there's diffront time lines, for Instance you can drag out the visa process for a year then once you have it you the then have a year to validate it ( go to oz on a reccie ) then 4 years to make the move before visa expires, so still well worth a call to visa agent
  4. Your best bet is to go to a visa agency mate and let them work out out what you need / don't need, you can pay as go with them tro the visa prosess There's so many different visas and your skills are on the wanted list So best of luck
  5. My truck acts as a good bull dozer in reverse and iv not broke any rear light lens lol
  6. My tail lift folds in half and you just lower it then tip but some solid tail lifts in hinge from the bottom so just like a normal tipper tail gate
  7. My tow bar sits further back so the tail lift & tipper can be used, this also doubles up at security for the chipper or any trailer when we,re in the cafe or round the back of a house we lower the tail lift on to the neck of the trailer and isolate it Any thing can be made and id recommend sitting the tow bar back to miss the tipper etc
  8. Iv got a transit tipper with a tail lift & tow bar, if you can post a photo of the back of the truck and one from a side view of the chassis area that would help
  9. For 9 grand if she's seriously interested she should get up there herself and if it's what she wants wack a strong Dee on it until arrangements are made to haul it home etc
  10. Hilux that's 5 years old with only 33k on the clock if it's gen then buy it quick before some one else does Towing wise not sure what it's legal weight is but it should handle you rig no worries
  11. 2nd the Wheelie Bins You'd be surprised how much you can cram in on, just put cardboard down to protect floor, I used 6 bins with two guys running them and just them so no meeting each other half way tro house etc Worked s treat even carted all our saws n kit tro the house in them !!
  12. Last one I moved on a 7.5 tonner was no agg, I got it craned on at container yard and just tipped it off the other end soon as it slid to the floor I just pulled away slow job done

    STIHL battery saw

Iv had the Stihl since it come out, I love it and the battery life is really good, iv also got a Stihl disc cutter that shares the same battery's and that's pritty impressive too
  14. No problem at all, drop your sides off load it on 2 straps it won't go anywhere
  15. I think you'd be surprised at how much torque the GMC engines have and would make light work of the heaviest loads, hence never struggling or being over worked if I was looking for bags of cheep power in a Landrover this is probably pound of pound the best option, not sure on the MPG
  16. There was a bobtail Range Rover classic over our 4x4 club for years and it never eat any gearboxes or axels and it was being used pritty hard, the power of the thing was amazing but there's also a guy who's got a bobtail Range Rover with full 80 series running gear it's not a V8 it's the 4.2 straght six My landcruiser was petrol 4.7 V8 in my opinion it pisses over any Landrover / Range Rover but Putting a landcruiser running gear in wont be cheep
  17. How about the GMC V8 diesel conversion ? range rovers often come up on the bay with this conversion last one only made £1100
  18. Yup, Charlie & Martins place there farm is just down the road from me super handy
  19. Iv always Paid to get rid of chip apart from when it's chipped on site or there is a guy who has a few loads now & then of me, I can't be the only one as nearly all the other guys in my area use this place too, it's £20 a load the farm is in a good location pull in tip off wack the money in the box, I don't think I could put up with driving round looking for places to top it would take up to much time
  20. When working along the rail the best place to walk for access is in the 4ft but it's also a poxy walk, across sleepers & ballast but a good pair boots helps
  21. I sometimes need to walk miles along the railway lines and find chainsaw boots are the best for job You get what you pay for I guess,
