  3. I had some greenbelt land valued about 18 months ago & the price I was give was £32.500 an acre but the guy very quickly said its worth what some one is willing to pay and in my area land gets snapped up very quick, I'm not selling mine but a plot just went up for sale near me for £175K for 3 acre,s and was gone same day !! So I was keen to get a value A lot of green belt plots now get PD not PP so as long as they have water, eletric, & postbox there going to make strong money This is in essex SS5 area

  6. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=291373374119 Cool Cruiser Challenge Truck on eBay
  7. If you need 4x4 toolbox then that's the ideal motor for you, I did think about one of these but then I'd alway,s need to tow a trailer so it sort of put me off but I'd like a full hight tool box behind the cab of a 130 so it's still a tipper
  8. Have you thought about adding the air bag kit ? It goes inside the coil spring & controlled by a small air compresser, iv seen them on eBay from memory thay was about £120 but I don't think the compresser was included so an extra £100 ish for that
  9. 575+vat lol you could have one custom made in SS for less then half that, but like you've done I would of knocked something up
  10. Iv never seen one befor, what a good bit of kit !!
  11. Here's one the towing horse box today
  12. TBH the disco is probley the best motor in its class, it's a 7 seater that's a usable 7 seater, and as already said the rear seats all fold flat , Its not to bad on diesel my one is getting 25 mpg around town & 30 ish on a run, ( 2.7 V6 diesel Auto. ) It's not bad in the mud it jacks it's self up once in low range and selects the diff locks or LSD and can get tro some mud but mine has A/T tyres It's not the best motor iv used for towing, it really struggles with heavy loads especially up hills Over all not a bad motor for the money,
  13. Iv got one and yes it gets used its got A/T tyres and has mud on it so not just a school runner, do I like No is it any good for towing No am I going to sell it and get anther landcruiser Yes
  14. I see that on eBay, got the making of a nice truck, have you got the welder working ?

  17. Mine worked a treet, I was worried someone was casing my yard when I see fresh tyre tracks on a reg basis that wasn't mine but it turned out it was just a courting couple lol
  18. Yes they are, my yard is up a dead end unmade rd with only 4 houses & some one kept pulling in my gates to turn around so I set up a game camra its camo and blends in well you mount the back bracket to a tree post etc then clip camra on it can take stills or vids at set times or mosion sensor it was powerd my 8 aa baters (4 in camra & 4 in bracket ) its infa red so night vision is very good and you can view straght away on a screen on the back

    Land Rover

LPG will help a bit, but its when you start it in the mornings and it's running on chock at 4mpg until it warms & switchs over to LPG your paying the price mate rover V8,s are so bad on petrol/gas with no advantage when a diesel is better on mpg power & reliably

    Land Rover

Have you had one ? Only I have and it was no problem at all and used off road in anger, now my mates got it in a RRC but no longer useing it the engine was brought new from states and only covered about 7000 miles from new & could be for sale £1000

    Land Rover

If you want to keep the V8 gearbox then put a 6.2 GMC V8 diesel in it
  22. Joel77

    Land Rover

Convert to diesel, buy a complete disco that's out of mot & a bit ruff (as long as it runs nice) then convert & scrap disco with the V8 slung in in the boot you,ll get a £200 ish back on scrap
  23. It's a tail lift /. Tipper so if it's a small load the tail lift folds in half ( I don't need to get out to tip load ) if iv got a good load on ill put tail lift up fully ( about same hight as the sides ) iv also got tabs welded on the side of tipper body that over lap doors on tool box so the tool box can only be open if body's tipped up a few inches better then a padlock, at the moment the truck having a mk7 front end put on and a respray in frozen white
  24. That's what iv done to my truck
