  1. Double cab transits are heavy with a bad pay load I sold mine ages ago and replaced it with a single can transit tipper, the single cab transit is 2000kgs empty so will give you about 1.4 tonnes payload once you & your kit are in there

  3. I lay mine down on the yard and steam clean them then just hang them up to dry quick & easy and no agg from ol,woman, also steam the winch ropes from the defender if they get too grubby
  4. I was given a 36v ryobi chainsaw by a customer on a job at the time I just took it and said thanks very much and put it in the truck but when I had a go to what it's like it surprized me how good it is so now it stays with the chipper to help trim anything up that's too big
  5. An 80 series would be better or now even a 100 series, I just don't think I'd have the heart to spend 3k plus on a cruiser then cut it up & then spend more money on Ali tipper body, tyres, springs,

Best van iv used for towing was a Transit lwb T350 125 it pulled a fully loaded 16ft ifor williams lovely ( steer well clear of the 90,s ) my old iveco daily was powerful and towed well but given the choice between the too transit wins, stay away from any thing front wheel drive there just not man enuff
  7. I have a landrover 110 cherry picker 12.5m I use is as often as I can, just makes life a whole lot easer being a 110 it's not to long and can get in & out tight spots also it tow,s the ifor williams it's got side lockers winch and protection roof rack cage all in all very handy bit of kit
