    Lock Down?

Yeah noticed the exact same thing when I went out for a cycle ride, more joggers a walkers cyclists than iv'e ever seen around before out and about, this virus must of made everyone exercise fanatics over night. Also less cars was nice. Reckon alot of them are the second homers as the locals aren't generally into exercise apart from a rare few regular ones I see around.

  12. I thought that having thay one boffin on R4 might of being tory plant. Im not sure his one thorectical study its the general boffin consesus. As for PHE rules with regards to working saw loads of breaking the 2m rules today when I went for my goverment sanctioned exercise allowance. 5 road workers crowded round a hole with one lad down the hole. Builders 3 across in front seat of vans, and working indoors in loads of domestic properties. All the holiday lets with multiply audi and Range rovers parked out front. (must be several families together)

  14. Well maybe harsh but a goverments suppose to do its best to protect its citizens. Imagine the deaths and economic impact it it had spread to 1 billion. Don't think UK could get away with using it as an excuse to restrict civil liberty after its finished. Similar measures were used during WW2.
  15. I tried Lohmann Browns & the y seem to die off fast compared to older traditional breeds.
  16. UK is like a 3rd world country compared to how china has dealt with it and we had more warning and time to prepare.

  18. She got caught out a few time then changed here story. Shows shes a tory sympathizer
  19. Could of done lockdown a week earlier same as every other place in EU apart from UK, instead of the talk about herd immunity which made some people people think there were doing there duty but going out spreading it. (This strat was then modelled as taking 2 yrs to acheive and leading to over 1/2 million deaths by first yr, by imperial college: after that came out goverment changed their policy) Could of closed caravan parks as that would have stopped 100,000's of people travelling around the country. (Other countries like Italy had the exact same issues but UK gov didn't learn from that) Advise could be less vague and confused about what essentail work is etc who lockdown covers. They edited the bullet points from 1hr to the next relaxing the lockdown. Could have better support for Self employeed e.g a small basic universal payment just to cover food. Could try and enforce lock down better disperse crowds etc.
  20. With everyone off work and home there gonna be a rush on shopping for materials for DIY projects: unintended cosequences not good if scewfix and B&Q etc if rammed full with people etc ?

    Lock Down?

Mr miggins is going to get angry/stressed when so tell her you can't turn up so her lawn ain't gonna be regulary scalped and bushes aren't trimmed, but scalping lawns isn't an essential activity surely? Alot of new "corona meadows"? Neither is most tree work essential either apart from road side, train and power line work maybe? Alot of dying ash everywhere....
