  1. Thanks did find some more info here from the dolmar de site http://download.dolmar.com/dipls/32787.pdf 161792-7 says for long chain tensioner pin 161792-7 USA: 2017-02 =>KETTENRADSCHUTZ KPL. ROT (FÜR LANGEN ZAPFEN) Had problems with the tension slide pins being weedy and getting knackered (worn & bent) got through 3 or 4 so far. So it does sound like a an improved upgrade design to accomidate a longer pin. Makes sense to get that version and a new improved tesion slide pin also. Assuming they fit on the ea4300 as well as the dolmar 420sc. Not sure the teals brethens cover one has this newer version?

  8. So all old 25:1 can be swtiched to 50:1? (Both with regular 2 stroke oil or just aspen?) Would save alot of bother as atm have 3 fuel can mixes one 25:1 one 40:1 and and one 50:1. As the first two don't get used often proabaly fuels going stale etc.... Cheapo chinese saws still spec 25:1.....
  9. Talk of pigs and CHP makes me think of the the pig system they had in mad max film, it looked effecient ? A film influenced by the 1970's oil price crisis and fears of looming energy crisis and enviromental degradation....
  10. Why do pigs need so much heating? Increases meat production/growth rate for lower feed input or something? Could pig sheds be better insulated deigned with solar gain etc rather than burning wood to heat pigs which doesn't seem that enviro freindly?

  13. Silly questions as what does last longer mean? If you mean in a fire the wet log will burn slowest... Best soak them in a bucket of water first if you want logs to last a long time.

    Saw theese in a shop for sale. So £10 quid for a stick for a dog... ? Apprently only that particular species of wood is safe for dogs to chew as has special properties... Bonkers

  19. From my experience Oak does/can takes that long also euc sems to take ages unless split down small then it alot quicker. All depends on how good your seasoning set up is.
