  11. Im sure read that any high temp lithuim grease would be ok them you can switch to using the 400g cartrigdes and a grease gun Superlube seems the higher spec of the two stihl versions?

  15. You did this thread already ? Try this test for bar wear? Had same issue & also the chain cutting to one side. Did above test and compared it to a new bar & the chain it lent over alot more on the older bar like in pic. But if its all new shouldn't be that worn yet?

  18. Noticed some large mature sycamores (north wales) around 90% dead tops, only a few live lower branches and suckers. Theese were growing on an eroded field hegde bank (clawdd) others nearby not growing on bank are completely healthy.

  21. Unsure. But know the spores are airbourne and have also read infection severity/probability may be influenced by the density of ash leaf litter in stands of ash. So even if original stem isn't infected or has overcome infection it likely will get re-infected again from the spores from other trees.
