  6. Thats the one Al but no biscuit because I reckon JB told you, a few miles from Arbrep http://www.arbrepservices.co.uk/contact/ https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.1164404,-0.9107553,624m/data=!3m1!1e3?dcr=0
  7. Two stroke has torn off more of my dash, a wasp went in there and he thought he would get it.
  8. May as well hijack @Tom D `s thread Where am I ?
  9. Tough call this, for us it has to be 4x4 truck mounted. I cant think of a situation where we have needed a tracked machine. As for the type of mewp it needs to have zero tail swing, nothing worse than having to worry about traffic hitting the back of the mewp . We have a small landy mewp which serves us well but my finger keeps stroking the buy it now button on this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-MAN-4x4-4WD-Unimog-Skyking-Access-Platform-Cherry-Picker-26-Metre-/361861155926?hash=item54409b0c56:g:efYAAOSwux5YXUQS Bob
  10. I have been doing home brew from a kit for a few years now, favourite in the house seems to be the Chardonnay .
  11. You were lucky it was just a Vosa bod, if you get plod and Vosa together that would have been a big fine and points for the driver. This is an old post but something that Vosa have a purge on regularly , note the teaspoon of ballast in the back of the transit and the associated fine http://landscapejuicenetwork.com/forum/topics/surrey-police-target-unsafe-contractor-vehicles?context=category-Vehicles
  12. Nothing fancy here just a snotty landrover mewp, gets lots of use. Bob
  13. I believe so Stubbs, click on the map and the circle ( centre) moves to your location. Bob
  14. Wind toy, some may find it useful. https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=5.35,49.45,815/loc=-2.498,53.605
  15. As its a council job you should check that its ok to use glyphosate , quite a lot of them wont allow it.. Bob
  16. Back a mulcher over it , it will be gone in minutes. Then get a decent 360 with a rake and grub out the stumps/laterals. Bob
  17. Horrible things to use with the hoses tails hanging off the back Powerpacks need to run on water soluble bio hydraulic oil because the chain lube bleeds off the systems oil. And the all important chain tethered wedges
  18. In the absence of a workshop manual I find the exploded view of the parts manuals can be quite handy. Below is just a random one but there are loads to choose from Bob Loads more here https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=al-ko+bm5001r+parts+diagram&client=firefox-b&dcr=0&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjjiablx5fWAhUkCMAKHaFYChkQ_AUICygC&biw=1280&bih=833#imgdii=vQxzcdsJm5WP4M:&imgrc=ks9LIVRXlc0ZdM:
  19. How time flies, got the little LG 6 tonner back to the yard today for a service and fit the new rake. Its been out on track building/ landscape work for a full year now and not missed a beat. A few war wounds
  20. Thats the start of the end Mr Git , give that man the dcm Massey is back in half for another clutch damper, that as near as makes no difference two years the HD one lasted. See page 13. Twas graunching about so much I had to turn the music up And the Hilux wheel has lost its newness
  21. Ash and poplar are used for train brake shoes.
  22. I don't know if its my lousy internet connection but everything on this site seems to take an age to load, painfully slow at times so quite often I don't bother. Bob
  23. Had varying degrees of success with OKO but its not something I would rely on. Foam filled is worth looking at but expensive, alternatively these are good http://www.marathonind.com/Flat-Free-Tires-Lawnmower-Tires.aspx After being tortured to death with stabbed tyres on our amazon cut and collect I fitted the flat free`s , no problems since . Bob
  24. Tarting up all the kit ATM @TIMON so included the stake knocker. Added a foot bar across the bottom of the knocker which helps stop the stake rotating.
