  1. Try Mister Solutions on ebay, seller name is blindstickinsect. I've had some bits from him, you could try sending him a message via ebay he has the rings and might be able to help with the piston if nobody else comes up with one.
  2. Ask the seller on ebay they usually know what their parts will do. You could ask about postage as well but at something under £20 it's got to be worth a shot. Here's the one randy sells and what he doesn't know probably isn't worth knowing
  3. There are some rings of willow behind my mate's shed that have been there all winter and they are coming into leaf quite vigorously.
  4. I'm sure I could have made that much mess freehand and a lot quicker.
  5. We used to leave them till the leaves started to turn brown or till the gaffer was looking the other way.
  6. Here's the one it's in US but Randy sells it so it must be good
  7. Too smooth for Douglas in my humble opinion, do they look like Christmas trees ? The foliage does look Pine.
  8. I'm on EE sim only and when my Samsung packed up I bought cheap Chinese Android Jellybean phone on ebay and it has been fine for signal and works just like any other. For £45 if it lasts a year I won't complain.
  9. Have a look at outer or inner rotor ignition kits they might be adaptable and cheap enough to try.
  10. Carbon parts will cost at least 6 times their equivalent in plastic if they are the ultra thin vacuum formed and cured in an autoclave type of material used in F1. They might be a bonus if you are climbing with a monster saw but otherwise are just a gimmick.
  11. This is an odd one but I caught it a bit too late to show properly and it's a phone picture so not too great. It's a cherry tree outside the local bike shop and it flowers white on one side and pink on the other but the white side has gone into leaf. while the pink flowers longer.
  12. I saw some in a clapped out old Transit pickup with greedy boards emptying a skip into the back and they has something like Midland Tree Services and a mobile number written on the side so if you are Midland Tree Services and have a legitimate business you might get some complaints I think.

    Elm Dismantle

Watched it and enjoyed it. I wonder how you decide where to start on something like that.
  14. I read that Stihl were compelled to rethink their policy as what they were doing contravened EU trading regulations.
  15. I don't know, I thought Laurel was more Hardy than anything
  16. How does the oil pump drive on those saws. I had a similar problem with a saw and it was the oil pump drive sticking on the crankshaft.

    Vivaro vans

They drive alright and are comfortable vans but they have a history of injector, pump and gearbox problems before 100,000 comes up. The bike shop had the Nissan because it was cheaper than the other two despite being built in the same factory and only had a problem with the crank position sensor.
  18. Here you are Jon Aspen 2. Guideline price as some dealers will "do you a deal".
  19. With the intake blocked it will pull fuel through under pure vacuum so if it stops again it is obviously a fuel problem. There is air getting in somewhere or the fuel is not pumping through. Have you replaced any carb parts or just visually checked them ?
  20. If that's a single storey building with a 45° roof I'd guess the tree at 23 metres. If you are getting paid by height go with their estimate.
  21. Sounds like an expansion tank. It pushes water into it when it's hot and sucks it back when it cools and it sounds like it is doing it's job. Check that the radiator cap is working and that you have the correct type.
  22. Aerosol carburettor cleaner will rinse it off if you don't have air on tap.
  23. Cold and wet all day here, never made it over 13° so I watched snooker most of the day.
  24. I would definitely need a grid over the top of that to stop me falling in and to place some bacon and sausages on.
  25. There's only a fortnight's difference between a bad haircut and a good one Give it time and it will fill out and look green and no-one will see the cuts.
