So I knew my van was going to need some welding for its mot but when we got propper into it ,its knackered so if anyone wants any nice slabs do give me a shout ,we have Walnut,Monkey Puzzle ,Pear, Spalted Beech, Holly,Apple,Mullberry and a whole lot of African Hardwoods ,Utile,Afansina ,koto and Mahogany .Need to make 3 grand ASAP.   5. I have only broke 1 chain in 10yrs of chainsaw milling and that was in the biggest hardist Oak ever .
  6. Hi if you want a nice finish try a Full Feature Chain or Full Comp they dont have a gap twice as many cutters as an ordanary chain
  7. Just make some new ones out of some cedar light long lasting and smells ace ,pick up a cheep bench morticer or a good tennon saw and chisel ,or come down to mine and will help you but bring some beer tokens
  8. Hi I think it would be a fun thing to have the Woodland HM 130 alongside the Frontier and have a mill off they both look very similar ,and Will 127 you were lucky to get given that racking wish someone would give me some .

Hi everyone so I now have this big Startright bandsaw and after some buggering around we got going so the next thing is getting a band for it but the plate on the side says it can differ by loads in length but that can’t be right so hopefully hear is a photo of the plate with the speck on it and as usual I look forward to your thoughts

Yeah get a diesil genny and run it on red if you can get red these days I gave battery grinders a go and what a load of pants for chainsaw carving as sometimes the grinder is used a lot and the batterys were just running out on me ,you should be able to pick up a good used genny or have a look on Bidspotter they have the Ramco ex militry auction and you always see good gennys going cheap

  18. Yeah quite interested in some cheap low teck way and not sweeping up every time I use my mill and next doors cat loves the sawdust for shitting in and that aint good so something easy and no much hassle would be ace .

  20. Hi Harvey B yeah sort of but it was her agent our actual landlady is real cool ,that was 4yrs ago now mad it dont seem that long but loads has happened .

Yeah dont know if you guys remember me falling off a ladder in my yard about 4yrs ago now broke and dislocated my ankle and broke my wrist 3 months non weight bearing 3 months in an air boot my surgeon said life changing accident was in work in my wheelchair back at work after 8/9 months surgeon was amazed that I could even walk ok let alone back to work ,it can be amazing how we can heal .
  22. Hi Steve not a bad job and free hznd drilling square true holes is hard work I have an Erbauer power drill thst has a tiny level on the end thats ace for holes in walls etc but that jig is cool
  23. I will router a recess for the mirror and use CT1 to fix it in place but then if the timber is thick enough I will use like glazing bars in the back and if its tall mirror I will put 2 or more going across and some of the truly big a heavy ones will have a backing board .
