  1. Hi, I'm a chainsaw carver from Dorset and I'm going to be doing demo's at a craft fair at Hatfield House on 22-24th November. I was wondering if anyone from that neck of the woods could possibly help with supplying some timber as I have limited space in my van and don't want to carry the extra weight all the way from Dorset on top of everything else I need to bring. If anyone has any logs-I do a lot of work in beech, oak, chestnut, cherry, cedar, but anything would be appreciated as long as it's not totally green. I'm looking for a few bits around 1-2ft. in diameter, any length from 2-5ft.; basically any manageable sized pieces to do me for 3 days worth of carving demo's. I could collect it on 21st November or make arrangements for delivery straight to Hatfield House. Alternatively, if anyone could point me to a local supplier around the area? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot, Mark.
