So I had a load of Redwood sawlogs and just the one started to sprout and grow so does anybody know if I can just cut the bits out of the log and plant it just like a cutting from a spider plant

Hi Saul hows things ,I have some Black Limba if your client is into guitars its ment to be real tonal and ace for instruments I have 6x6 beams of it but can happily mill it into thin boards if wanted ,just thought I would mention it hope you are doing ok I also have a big Cherry Tree to mill as soon as I get round to it

I like the Granberg one I got from Rob D yrs ago for those big milling chains and I have a cheap grinder from Lidl that my mate gave me I use that for knackered chains but my go to is always a file with a guide

Yeah the old bill are just useless unless its sending out speeding fines our workshop was broke into we had time ,description of the van and that was quite unusual and still all we got was sorry we dont attend comercial break ins any more ,and as for the insurance company I would ring them and ask if they want to sell it to you as the storage and security charges are starting to get quite high and you are concerned that it may get stolen again if they sell it to you cheap then I am sure somebody on hear would have a deal with you or they come and get it either way you get it gone

So I should be getting a big old trailer base to build a living wagon on I have some 3x2 CLS for some of the framing but not enough but I should have some Coast Redwood left over from a cladding job ,now I gave never built a wagon before so the only question I have is can I use green timber for the framing or will it move too much ,its not going to be your run of the mill thing its going to look like it just came from a Mad Max film on the outside got parts of a 1950's bus to use , but real nice inside once done it will be for sale I will take photos along the way ,wish me luck as I prob will need it

Oh yes please love Holly any chance of some photos and sizes and most important what kind of deal can we have ,would you like some milled boards for your own use Holly sanded to a 400grit is very cool a smoky ,creamy grey one of my favs .

Hi Polypropline sheet is reusable but not cheap ,the melamine works like Roys said and easy to get some resin companys now sell ready made moulds -
I can knock you up a bench but would much rather make you something truly stunning that will be a feature you are proud of but if you just want some 3x3 bolted together for legs and a couple of slabs screwed on top give me a shout I do have some metal bench ends in the shop I could put some Cedar or Oak slats on one a pair of them if you want or for strong money you can have one of our real big rustic benches made with joints and pegs and all out of big chunky Cedar I have some Holly that would make a nice simple back less bench give me a call 07449736569

Yeah my 2ft wide thickness planner is a real game changer it was a real ball ache getting it and a grand for the blue box with 2 switches on it to convert to 3phase but totally worth all the money and grief -
I would fit it for you I also have some nice Walnut some quite dark and some that we think is Butternut Walnut that is very pale .

We get loads of spiders all types slugs moths its like a jungle some nights but having lived on traveller sites in buses ,showmans carsvans not that arsed ,but the first time we had a May Bug in our caravan that did my head in had never seen one before and they are quite big and make an odd noise

I would get a Trend Airshield Pro they are like £250 and are a full helmet with a battery fan in them ,they are real good I would be lost without mine and customer services from Trend are very good.

There is a fine line between Spalted and Rotten ,but as someone said not much public interest in Spalted Beech at the mo 8/10yrs ago it was in demand not so much now ,I think its cool a booked matched pair of boards make stunning tables and with the Lacqures and Resins around then keeping a table top nice is easy done ,I have a fair bit of 7/8yrs air dry Spalted Beech if anyone wants any also have Spalted Apple ,and Holly

Yeah sorry will get to it today,had to buy a new van yesterday 2500 quid Iveco Daily ,we took it out for a test drive the other day all good yesterday we gets about 15 mile from our yard and the bloody EDC light starts flashing so had issues yesterday hopefully its not much my mate is taking it this morning to get it pluged in to see what the issue is,so yeah will get the photos today
