  4. I just got myself an old freezer box from a lorry ,just plonked in place just need to run the power cable
  5. You get used to wearing the Airshield I wear mine most days for hrs and hrs but dont get the ear defenders that go with them they just amplify the fan noise a lot

Hi Mac ,yeah I do remember that link as I did read some of it as I am starting to get Arthritus in my ankle ,its quite mad how a few people have recently said to me its real bad for you but all the info is confusing and then Boric Acid seems almost the same its done my head in obviously I wear gloves and a mask when spraying it but what about after its been absorbed by the boards can it be harmfull when cutting or sanding ?
  9. So doing some reading I am even more confused in the US they seem to use it a lot but then there is Boron that seems to be the same a Borax ,its just a nightmare

Hi everyone ,so quite a while back there was a few posts about spraying boards with Borax to treat against mould and wood munching Beatles so I have been using it for yrs but a few weeks ago I mentioned it to a matey who also mills and sells timber and he was saying its bad for you its banned etc etc but you can make slime for the kids our of it everything I have read is just conflicting so do any of you have any info on it . Thanks. Mark
  11. Like I said never used it and trying to have a bit of a clear out so thought I would ask on hear first
  12. I have always used 50:1 on the 2 stroke and always a good make same as chain oil as long as it’s a good make but I don’t like this Bio Oil for milling as it ain’t that sticky to get to the end of a long bar

  18. Thanks guys as I dont get the Alaskan out as much as I used to before I broke my Ankle things that used to be so obvious get a bit foggy so as its looking like a few more Alaskan jobs coming up I think its time to look for a new 4ft milling bar what would you lot recommend . Thanks guys
  19. Hi Rob I think you are right I remember having issues when I first got the Alaskan but that was so long ago I just can remember properly
  20. Yeah like I said when I use the shorter Sugi Bar I dont think I get these issues
