  1. Just a quick message for any other arb dealers. We have had a few attempts of a customer trying to purchase mainly the treemotion and superlight harness using stolen credit cards. Three attempts the first one unfortunately succeeded resulting in a chargeback. They are also be trying to purchase other specific items which if you want further information please PM me.
  2. There is something wrong with the message limit so best to email atm. I did type got but didn't seem right,I'm probably watching too much yank tv buddy .
  3. I've done a little bit of work with the top handle husky but Barry has used it on a lot more jobs. He made a youtube vid which husky picked up on last week and promoted it! I think they are brilliant, I wouldn't replace a petrol saw with one, or should I say I wouldn't have a battery as my only saw but it is a great bit of kit on the right jobs. Haven't used the stihls but have heard a lot of excellent praise about them. I think there will be a hell of a lot more of them about over the next few years.
  4. Yup, I would like to blame autocorrect on my phone but my spelling is terrible so no excuse. I bet they do have an inventor knocking about somewhere though! Those inverters are about £50 but it looks like they havent any in stock yet. I dont think they draw that much current but yes, might be worth running the van while its charging but then goes against nearly everything a battery bit of kit stands for.
  5. Ahh but when the customer asks "do you need an extension lead for your tools?" You can now say"yes, but don't un plug the kettle first" I know husky are bringing out (may already be available) an inventor so you can charge from the van battery.
  6. Sounds like the courier has signed for it and left it, otherwise he wouldn't have left a card. Open a case with eBay, if it's through PayPal you and the seller should get their money back since it was tracked. We have had this quite a bit usually with stolen PayPal accounts, never got our money back if it wasn't tracked though.
  7. Good man, always putting yourself out to help others.
  8. Cheers to those for the feedback on the air filter issue.
  9. Yes it is black, the 'legs' that slot into the metal bar are longer so they go through the plastic casing more.
  10. Can I please ask people with the cs2510tes to check how secure the air filter is? Ie can you easily pop the orange clup off with you finger or does it need a screwdriver? Also if your metal loop that is used to attach a strop to is silver it needs swapping for the uprated black version. Thanks
  11. It must have gotten lost in the post. I will send another out today.
  12. Cheers jonny, should be with you today.
  13. I very much doubt you will have any issues, from customer feedback it is all positive.
  14. Yes from what I've read the echo power blend blend is a very good oil, just getting the specs for it is a bit difficult. I understand what you mean about all those pounds soon adding up!
  15. The ear muffs slide up inside the helmet so there isnt much room to increase the snr by thickening the ear muffs. I think it is something protos are working on but for now the suggestion is to use ear plugs as well add the muffs if more sound deadening is required.
  16. I know they fit the previous version and assume they fit the one before that. If you can put a pic up of the one you have I can find out.
  17. Husqvarna X force bars. We have had them in stock for a while, have only just gotten around to getting them on the web site! Husqvarna x force Guidebar chainsaw bar1.5mm gauge, .3/8" pitch 365 372XP 576XP 390XP 395XP Husqvarna x force Guidebar 1.5mm gauge, .325 pitch 346XP, 445, 455, 545, 550XP, 560XP Sealed bearings so no grease hole, a few different specs depending on if its a .325 or 3/8" pitch bar and apparently tougher paint so it will stay on the bar longer!! So by the time the courier gets it to you there should still be some paint left on it.
  18. Usually the main reason is because it's fully synthetic. Although we do have a few customers who use it because it's biodegradable, wild life trusts etc. Tbh I wouldnt expect any oil to save an engine if there are other issues, ie poor fuel or air leaks etc. It is only an extra 60p per 5 litres of fuel so imo its worth the extra cost to use fully synthetic oil.
  19. Why is that? We have had more than enough customers that have switched from hp red to super or a husky equivalent oil and would never look back.
  20. If you can't get one from a local dealer using the part number ADW has just posted then we do have them in stock, they are about £23 inc Vat though. They just arent on our web site yet. I am assuming it is the technical forest helmet and not the technical arb helmet as the ultravision visor on the arb helmet is a lot cheaper.
  21. Not with us. AB is standard UK charges, £4.75 for under£60 free if it's over, ex vat prices. Even northern Scotland is only£6.75 on any order.
  22. Micrograb is made of aluminium and is the only version that I know of(apart from the microflip which is the micrograb with a wirecore flipline) Postage is standard delivery sorry.
  23. Just a couple of new Petzl products now in stock. Petzl Pantin catch Petzl MicroGrab
  24. It takes long enough when someone wants to pay £10 more than cost, wants it delivering last week and wants to pay for it in 90 days:001_smile: I have thought about offering it as a free service but until the profit increases it simply isn't worth offering it ATM unfortunately. The best thing people can do is register it on arbsafe, a lot of stolen equipment doesn't have the serial number removed so is easily traceable. If people can't be bothered doing that then they shouldn't expect someone else to do it for them.
  25. I think Steve is right as the MK1 was recalled, here is a link to lyons web site https://lyon.co.uk/workandrescue/ I'm not sure on the situation if its a mk2 as a lot of the time warranties don't go with the product when it changes owners.
