  1. In regards to the price of the batteries just think of it as buying a lot of fuel upfront. They only cost a few piece to charge. The running costs are a lot cheaper in the long run, especially when you consider the lower maintenance required for battery machines.
  2. 4229 030 0400 is the part number which is fitted to BG45 BG46 BG55 BG65 BG85 BR45 C SH 55 SH 85 What damage is there to the crank?
  3. Sounds like I should of asked who uses a sewn e2e. I still appreciate all the feedback given and any further feedback.
  4. Cheers for the info on the pole. Does look like a lot prefer to tailor friction cord lengths themselves.
  5. Thanks for the votes and big thanks for the info in replying. Does the poll show up for anyone else using the arbtalk app?
  6. Just giving this a quick bump.
  7. Hoping to get a bit of feedback on what is the most popular lengths of eye 2 eye to help a manufacture. I have made a bit of a poll up but if anyone uses different lengths than the poll and wants to post the info that would be very much appreciated. Whether it's for a lanyard or mainline doesn't matter so if you do use a few different lengths you can choose multiple options in the poll. Thanks Mark
  8. Bought some of the elm burr ones a couple of weeks back. Excellent pens Ian cheers:thumbup1: Fantastic quality and highly recommended.
  9. Yep sorry your right, I was looking at the current husky workshop manual which still has the 3 prong one as the tool to use! Forgot they changed it from the 560 clutch and decided a complete clutch should now cost three times the price of the 560:sneaky2:
  10. I have it down as 575 25 14-01 and it costs us dealers more than twice the price Mark paid for it so dont buy one from me:laugh1: You on friendly terms with Mick then? They are great little bits of kit does make short work, although I do usually go for the give it a quick whack like already mentioned earlier on, if no joy the tool and an impact wrench.
  11. Cheers Mark. Couriers are the unsung hero's of internet shopping, until they loose a parcel of course! Remember the bad old days when mail order took 28 days!
  12. There's no denying that quite a few people have had issues with the saw but thankfully enough they aren't all bad, although the rear av spring and attachment point is a very poor design. Hopefully this has been sorted on the next gen T540XP.
  13. Doesnt look to shabby on a 540. We now have a small selection in stock for the T540XP,550/560XP MS201/200T and MS260/261 Still in the process of getting them on the web site Sugihara Chainsawbar light pro for Husqvarna Chainsaws T540XP Sugihara Chainsawbar light pro for Stihl Chainsaws,MS200T/201T
  14. That is what happens. Make sure you login to your pp account and sort it asap. You only have a certain time to do this before they keep the funds permanently.
  15. Nice1, although I am terrible with names and faces, so I have no clue who you are mate!
  16. Cheers:thumbup1: I will get the web people on to it.
  17. Sorry for the delay chaps. I am going to pick a random number between 2 and 15 from number generator. The winning number is, 13, so thats getting drawn again, this time its 6. wisecobandit wins a £20 voucher.( I will PM you the details) Thanks to all for the help, I think we are going to go with a couple of options that should hopefully make life easier when choosing a bar and chain. Thanks again Mark
  18. I will post the winner tomorrow night, so just a quick bump if you still want to enter with an idea.(I am just picking a random number in google from the post count)
  19. Just out of interest I had a look on the husky site 576 94 51-01 is coming up as "enclosed kit" for £13.44 ex vat it is just the retaining screws, and seems quite expensive for 6 screws! It might include the handle AV but doesn't clearly show it, although I expect i should at that price. 505 15 69-01 is the wrap handle only, no screws etc at £83.72 ex vat Looks like there are non at husky UK so unless dealers have them on their shelves it looks like the end of April.
  20. The fact that you say it's meant to be a genuine still chain makes me wonder. If it is a stihl chain and all the sizing matches the bar check for damaged dive links especially if you can see where the chain has been joined together. The dive links can get slightly bent while punching out the rivets if it's not done correctly.
  21. Some great ideas coming through cheers. We are restricted in how our web site works in regards to using a drop down box type of selection. I did want to do that from the start but it wasn't possible, might be with the site revamp but I'm 99% sure it won't work. Jrose, we have that atm but it's just for spare parts for each saw so there is no problem adding in the relative bars and chains, only issue is I would have to an endless amount of other machines individually ie 357, 346, 026, 046 066 etc due to the problem goaty and ukulian pointed out. Please keep the ideas coming, Cheers.
  22. We have a lot of work scheduled on our web site and we really want to make it more user friendly. The section I am looking at atm is the guide bar selection. Chainsaw Bars - Chainsaw Carving Bar - Chainsaw Guide Bar Im not sure how this will pan out. I am looking for constructive criticism on what you think about the layout and what you would prefer. There are plenty of things things that need updating in the bar section ie descriptions, inventory and bars available etc, we have a lot more items in stock than what we have on the web site. What I need is suggestions as to how you search for guide bars, do you know exactly what you need in regards of part number, sizing etc or do you only know what machine you have and search that way, ie i need a 20" bar for a 460. What I will do, and I hope this is fair, is to include all the constructive comments into a list. the winner will receive a £20 voucher to spend either in store or on the web site. So suggestions as to how we can improve user experience please . Thanks Mark
  23. Yes we usually carry a few Husqvarna 550XP/XPG Clutch Needle Bearing 503 25 34-01 That would go out royal mail 1st class so if the postie did his job it would be there on tuesday.
  24. That part number is for the 346/357 You need 503 25 34-01
  25. That looks like a genuine 3120 to me. If it isnt its a very good copy. I was at a husky service meeting a few weeks ago and they were saying that they have came across quite a lot of near identical fake machines, nothing like the usual fake garbage you see. As they were being produced as direct copies from the factory they were able to intervene and put a stop to it. We have had quite a few customers telling me I have sent the wrong bar or chain out, when I ask for a photo of their saw sure enough its a fake.
