  1. Not with us. AB is standard UK charges, £4.75 for under£60 free if it's over, ex vat prices. Even northern Scotland is only£6.75 on any order.
  2. Micrograb is made of aluminium and is the only version that I know of(apart from the microflip which is the micrograb with a wirecore flipline) Postage is standard delivery sorry.
  3. Just a couple of new Petzl products now in stock. Petzl Pantin catch Petzl MicroGrab
  4. It takes long enough when someone wants to pay £10 more than cost, wants it delivering last week and wants to pay for it in 90 days:001_smile: I have thought about offering it as a free service but until the profit increases it simply isn't worth offering it ATM unfortunately. The best thing people can do is register it on arbsafe, a lot of stolen equipment doesn't have the serial number removed so is easily traceable. If people can't be bothered doing that then they shouldn't expect someone else to do it for them.
  5. I think Steve is right as the MK1 was recalled, here is a link to lyons web site https://lyon.co.uk/workandrescue/ I'm not sure on the situation if its a mk2 as a lot of the time warranties don't go with the product when it changes owners.
  6. Could be the coil breaking down when warm, check the gap between that and the flywheel, should be about .25mm. Your saw sounds exactly like one with low compressionoso worth a check at cold and hot, even though it's been like that from the beginning. If you are using stihl red two stroke it could be worth an upgrade to hp super, a lot of customers notice the difference in how well their saw runs when using a better oil.
  7. Cheers, it is very much appreciated.
  8. There's a youtube video for everything:001_smile: Its not the hardest job in the world but you have to be sure you have fixed the problem that caused the seize or it will happen again.
  9. Piston and cylinders are available but your looking at the best part of £250 Check the cylinder out as I had one in recently that had a fairly scored piston but the cylinder didnt have a mark on it which can bring the cost down to about £80 including a couple of gaskets.
  10. Any husky dealer will be able to order one in for you, if you get stuck give me a shout. I cant give you a price atm as the husky site doesnt work after 22:30:001_smile: Sometimes they superceed parts so part number 544097901 may change to 544097902 when a dealer goes to order it. Getting spares onto a web site is a bit of a nightmare hence not many UK dealers advertising that they have them even if they do.
  11. I know for a fact that Lyon equipment did some extensive testingnon extremely damaged zigzags and found them to still operate within acceptable parameters. Lyon are the UK petzl distributors and are much more than wholesaler, they make and test a lot of rope access equipment. I'm only mentioning this to hopefully put some people's mind at rest. If you do find a crack in either a zigzag or zillon then advice is to retire it immediately and speak to your supplier. There will be no issue in getting it replaced for the latest version which has none of these issues.
  12. It could be worth having a look here. All Products | PRODUCTS | ECHO | YAMABIKO CORPORATION You can see the two different models CS-2510TES and CS-2510TESC which I presume means carving due to the thin nosed bar and 1/4" chain. They run the same gauge 1.3mm and im fairly sure it will be the same size cutters so not really the benefits like the 1/4" ms150 chain. Check that sprocket though as they wont be the same.
  13. I saw this thread and checked our ones out today, all had 3/8" lo pro bar and chain. The echo range is new to us so I'm not familiar with all the setups yet. I would be very weary running a 1/4" chain on a 3/8 sprocket! You will probably destroy the chain in a couple of seconds.
  14. Which machine brand and model is it? I know some of the husky saws have had av spring redesigns.
  15. I thought stihl designed the ultra for the 4mix engines? Is the super better and if so why? I try to not sell the stihl red unless it's for old machines, the husky hp is a better oil as far as I've been told in regards to a budget oil.
  16. All I'm going to do is make sure it is the same issue as before and then get husky to look at it.
  17. Was it just the one bar our had you tried a few? I also meant to mention husky are bringing out a new type of bar called the x force. We have quite a lot on order but I'm not sure when they are available and if they are doing one for the 540,oso probably some useless information from me. it's tougher, has more teeth on the nose sprocket and sealed bearings so no grease hole.
  18. No upgrade to the av spring yet. I will try and get the catcher on the web site as we carry a lot more spares in stock than listed on the web and I know we have some in stock as customer bought a few in store the other day. I think it's about £3.5
  19. Cheers for the info. Quicker than I thought tbh. I will give myself a couple of hours on the first attempt. I never thought to salvage a cylinder, I either bought a new one or a new saw but then all the machines we ran were pro saws being used day in day out so cost wasn't an issue.
  20. Unfortunately they and other manufactures rightly assume that a lot of people do tip the bottle upside down and pour the powder in, then claim the carabiner is garbage.
  21. The oregon 91vxl is a bit more aggressive than the husky h37, although the stihl 3617 is a better chain, full chisel without the extra safety features of the 3616. Just my opinion.
  22. Husky technical want to see the saw so I doubt I will get much chance to find the issue but I will post any findings. Just out of interest how long do you chaps take to clean a cylinder up? I dont want you to give any secrets away Im sure it will vary but I guess it isnt a 10 min job. Ive never done it, got plenty of probably salvageable ones on the shelf. Most of my customers need the saw doing last week so they just pay to get it done ie new pot and piston. I think I will have to give it a try when I have a bit of time. I did see a youtube of of some American guy who was cleaning them up with an airline grinder using sandpaper and scotch brite, looked very effective and quick!
  23. Most of the time the bar info will tell you how many drive links you need. I say most as it is based on a standard tooth sprocket.
  24. Just spotted this on the DMM web site Inspection & Maintenance of Auto-locking Gates - News & Articles - DMM Professional
  25. Interesting thanks. When someone mentioned chain oil in the fuel I did think of a possible leak on the gasket(I know some off the earlier 560xp has this problem but have now been fixed) but dismissed it with good pressure test and clean running but I wonder if the aspen could be masking a smoky saw? Definitely something to check.
