  1. Kinell ! Hope that was a wire core flip line .
  2. No ....? I mix it at 50:1 with Red Line 2t oil for the saws .
  3. I put some Aspen 4 in my log splitter recently ( coz I could not be arsed to drive round to the garage and get pump fuel ) and it ran perfectly but with noticeably less fumes .
  4. Welcome bud ! Good luck with everything . ?
  5. 6 degrees first this thing morning but was up to 20 degrees by mid morning . I would be sweating light bulbs if I had lit it .
  6. I would Husqvarna ( as you would ) . My 555RX is a relentless bugger .
  7. Apart from one hundred sovs what have you got to loose ?
  8. Would that be the middle lever?
  9. I see this is 6.2litre and 180BHP . My Navara is 2.5litre and makes 188BHP . I guess the biggun has shed loads more torque .
  10. With regard to the Navara can you not get a V6 version anymore ? From your list of woes the Navara seems to come off best ( least woes ) .
  11. A good biggun will always beat a good littlun .
  12. Stubby

    Job wanted

Any saw tickets ? At least get your CS 30whater it is now .
  13. Why not go the whole hog and have spiders web of lines .....Its not been thought through by tree climbers as is obvious from pretty much all the above posts .
  14. Yes a good flame picture is important to me ( which I get now with my Burley wood burner ) but more importantly the Parkray gave out heat from itself , heated 7 radiators and domestic hot water .
  15. My old buddie who I used to work with still climbs with a \Willans T22 on 3 core with a prussic ! this will blow his mind ?
  16. I suppose we are lucky here in the South bud !
  17. Still warm here in the South Downs . I'm talking 22 degrees and dry .... Rain tomorrow it seems .
  18. Load handler , as others have said .
  19. Its physics really . You could in reality but efficiency would be lost . Imagine a small 35cc saw with a carving bar running .404 full chisel square ground chain ...then imagine a 120cc saw with .043 gauge narrow kirf lowpro chain . ......
  20. Bless you Eggs mate . I am a big old softie for dogs .
  21. This ...... I have been a spaniel man all my life . 100 mph every ware at every opportunity ! Strait back on the whistle then strait off again ! I love 'em to bits though ?
  22. At the end of the day , how will this be policed ? If people carry on as before and don't have an accident ( as they never have before ) what is to stop small firms ( one climber and one or two groundies ) carrying on as they have ? I am talking domestic work here .
