  1. My take on them is that they don't measure speed but measure time elapsed between 2 consecutive cameras from which they can calculate average speed . They are not all turned on for sure . If I take my sat nave it will " ping " the ones that are alive and ignore the ones that are not . According to my sat nave a true 50 mph is an indicated 47 mph So if I drive at an indicated 53 + the 10% you can fly past all the people driving at what they think is 48MPH .
  2. There will be one for sale in the Outer Hebrides . Money up front though .....
  3. 10 votes for Ant hills 1 for moles and 1 for the SAS . So far .
  4. The place I had to strim was in Horsham ! The other near Crawley .
  5. I had a couple of areas like that that I had to strim on a regular basis . bloody pain . I used to call them termite mounds but I think ants is correct .

  16. I bought one of the first to be available here in the UK . I think they have stopped importing them . Don't seem to advertise now anyway . The one thing that I did not like is the fact that the plastic parts on the securing straps rubbed the paint of my tail gate . No biggie as it was a work truck and a bit of a scrunter .
  17. I use Red Line Racing 2 stroke oil . ( have done for years ) I used to mix it with pump fuel but now mix it with Aspen or Husky equivalent at 50:1 . You can get it on line via Opie oils and othe vendors if you shop around . I'm pretty sure it exceeds , the spec of any of the top oils around .
