    Google ethanol wrecking small engines in the USA .
  2. My old Navara D22 specified every 6K . My D40 says every 12K but for the reasons stated above I still stick to 6K + filter .
  3. I have always found compression to be enough . Make sure the de comp button is out . An aluminum or copper drift on one of the clutch arms and a stiff whack with a No 5 copper and hide mallet . LH thread remember . Should be little direction of rotation for " off " arrows cast on to the clutch to remind you .

  8. I have the Navara tekna 65 plate . The DPF light has never come on and I do mostly short trips . About once a fortnight I might take my daughter to Midhurst , about 18 miles round trip and the odd trip to DM Chainsaws in Walberton ( similar distance ) .
  9. I could well be wrong here but I don't think there is a " law " that states you can't buy a top handle without a ticket ( you would not be able to buy second hand on Ebay etc if there was ) but some manufactures / out lets recommend that a ticket be shown .

  11. Fender electric guitar bodies are almost all made from Alder since they ran out of swamp Ash back in the sixties .

    I remember as a kid going over some abandoned land near us . ( I am going back 60 odd years ) there was a big old willow next to a natural dew pond and we would collect newts , frogs water boatmen etc etc . It was before they were protected obviously . Some had a bright red belly and were green on top . There were sheets of corrugated iron lying about and we would lift them and catch mice and slow worms and stuff . Its all built on now though ....
