  1. I wish I could afford another one mate spent a fortune replacing kit that was supposedly knicked out of my now ex-boss's pick up. My gear was apparently knicked but theirs was left behind even though mine was underneath theirs. No broken windows or popped locks so I'm a little suspicious of what actually happened.
  2. Cheers mate, much appreciated, I do still intend to get it to you it's just my only saw at the moment after the others got 'knicked' from the bosses van. What issues should I check for in particular?
  3. Yeah it does, cheers that helps a lot.
  4. Oh don't worry it won't be going anywhere! Try to help someone out of a tough spot & this is what happens.
  5. Thanks for that, I've just been looking at the meteor pistons so may well go down that track. I think it was because he 'tuned'it too lean, apart from the hard start when hot it was running fine. Already spoke to spud not long back about that so it may well be on the cards if I can pick something up cheap to see me through.
  6. Cheers, you are probably right I just measured it at 44.2 so close enough. Cheers.
  7. Never even thought of that, me & computers don't like each other ? thanks I'll give it a shot.

    Husky 346

I know they're old etc but I love my old 346xpg or did until someone borrowed it, tuned it cos he couldn't get it to start when hot then 5 minutes later it siezed! Anyway, I've got it apart, pistons a little scarred, pot seems not to bad but I'm going to replace both. My question is how do I know if it's the early model or the later? Been looking at kits & there seems to be 3 different piston sizes for it. I'm just puzzled!
