  1. I assumed his " multi file " thingy would have done that , but yes.
  2. You need to take the gullets out a bit or it will start to rub .
  3. JHC that brings back memories . Looks very similar to the Student . Did a lot of turning on a Colchester Chipmaster and the Student and the Triumph . Also used a Dean Smith and Grace .

  8. This is what used to happen . With the strengthened mount on the grey plate and the stiffer barrel shaped AV spring all is good . I think on the MK2 there is a different ignition unit and fly wheel but not sure .
  9. Spud has done most of my saws . You won't regret it . Money well spent .
  10. I have a T540 MK1.5 . Its a MK 1 with the stiffer barrel shaped AV springs and stiffened up grey belly plate from the MK 2 . Until these mods were fitted it would fall in half if you dropped it on its strop . Its fine now .
  11. My muffler was cut and shut by petemate ( on here ) with a few other tweeks prior to me getting the hightop thats why I did not notice much difference as it was already bazzing like a goodun !

  13. To be honest I can't tell ( though it was ages ago ) . The filter can go longer between cleans as there is more surface area .
  14. I was laughing at " resemble that remark " but when dicky birds came along I , er ...I dunno err what ? 18:45 I think .

  16. Can't help much other than all of the military trucks I see on the M/A27 are MAN so must be reliable .
