  1. yea but £300 is not bad when you consider its £900 or more for a new saw .
  2. On that saw I would go OEM and fix the air leak as well !
  3. There are some bigguns near me in West Sussex . In a water board compound as it happens .
  4. So , will you be selling it as a non runner ?
  5. Can you try the starter of another known saw that works properly ? just to eliminate the starter cover .
  6. There is a coating on the rubber components to keep them supple . Pump fuel slowly stacks the rubber and removes that coating but the petrol itself keeps it supple until eventually it dissolves . This takes a number of years . The Alkylate fuel does not do this so if you switch over to Aspen or similar after running a machine on pump fuel for a long time the Aspen can show up the damage caused by the pump fuel . If the saw is not very old it is usually not a problem . I changed all the rubber components in my older saws as a precaution but not in the A/T saws as they are not so old . I have had no probs at all .
  7. Does the chain go round when you pull it over ? Wonder if its a rusted up clutch bearing ???

  11. I honestly don't think its a problem for ebay . A sale is a sale to them . You could sell a tactical nuclear war head to a children's nursery as far as they are concerned .
  12. I don't know if that is true . You say " surely " because you feel that is morally correct , it may well be the case but I don't know to be honest .
  13. To be fair any one can go into any dealer and by what ever saw they want ( some may want to see some paper work if its a top handle but you can even buy that from B&Q or similar ) The dealer may or may not ask questions but he is not obliged to .
  14. Look . You can say along the lines of " this is a pro saw , very powerful , I assume you know what you are doing . I have no responsibility if you do something stupid with it "
  15. No . People sell cars . Sometimes they crash . Injuring ,killing people . Not good I know but not the fault of the seller provided everything is road worthy .
  16. Is it like making love to a beautiful woman Khriss ?

  22. Not much experience with the digger method but 394 was a good old saw ! . Had 2 before the 395 . Think the 394 had more torque for some reason .
