  5. I used a timberwolf tw125 when I was at cannington about 3/4 years ago. It looked like a new machine back then as it doesnt get much use and it is stored in a shed. Used it a few times then and it was great for a small machine. Maybe a little slower then a bigger diesel but then it is bit cheaper. sure beats milling it up in a trailer or stacking brash on the trailer. Mike cullen is a great guy. An real assest to the college Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Needs must when you start. I started of with a diahatsu fourtrak and a trailer and went on like that for a while untill I could afford a pickup, which has made life easier. I was still trailering brash untill I recently got a chipper. I am sure even a gravity fed chipper would beat trying to mash the brash up in the trailer Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. looks similar to one i have seen on the side of a jenson i used to use. I have got my hands on one now. thanks for the replys
  8. As per title i need to find out what rpm my chipper is running at.. engine is a 25hp kholer command. any ideas of how and who?
  9. nothing about science but it is a great read... the golden spruce by john vaillant i think if i remember rightly it is based on a true story
  10. Cant say i have done it from an anchor that has been screwed in the ground but have lowered using various vehicles: chipper, truck etc. The trouble i can see with the ground anchor is that you can not calculate force factors. Russian roulette

  13. its a '97 entec ch25ph . with the 25hp kohler engine. Now the first problem is that it does not have a chassis number which i didnt realise until after i purchased the machine so timberwolf cant be much help with specifics regarding my particular machine. So the problem is that the rollers run fine if the the three pin plug on the anti stress control box (Old style grey box) is unplugged (obviously with no anti stress functionality). If i connect the three pin plug the rollers wont move. So my first thoughts are with regards to the trigger. the one on the machine looks like it has taken a hammering in the past and the teeth are not very uniform. So i was going to try a new trigger as i am unsure of the tolerances. I contacted timberwolf and they said that my machine should not have a twelve toothed trigger, which mine does. So now that has opened up another can of worms. Do i persist down the route of a new trigger or has this anti stress system been adapted to fit my machine (looks original to me) there fore i am throwing good money after bad and i should just upgrade it to the later style anti stress system which will obviously cost a little bit more?
  14. Does anybody know of any chipper experts in my area as i am having some trouble with my anti stress system.
  15. I would love to send out lots of 'promotional' bars but he has not got the funds to do so at the moment. I have tried all of the flavours and, predictably, i liked them all. Stevia is a 0 calorie sweetener so you can enjoy these with a clear conscience. And i think that they may be suitable for diabetics as they don't contain 'sugar' as a sweetener. He does have an online shop as part of the website. And i think a taster pack containing all of the flavours is in the pipeline. :D
  16. hi guys and girls. i know this probably goes against the paleo fraternity on here but i will soldier on regardless. My 21 year old brother in law has put in a shed loads of work to start a new chocolate company called Discover, the bars are sweetened with stevia instead of artificial sugars. Their has been no one backing him and all the money he has put behind it has come from his part time work as a postman. So i was wondering weather you could spread the word and add him and twitter and like his facebook page And possibly check out the website Discover If you could, that would be really helpful. Cheers Mark
  17. i used to work somewhere that had a lift like this one. lister/ peter engine under the seat and was told that it has landrover axles. our pivot part was worn pretty bad
  18. try these guys... novel t's They make mine up and they are real cheap... £12.50 for a polo and 20 for a hoody. The t polo is a little on the thin side but i am sure you could ask for a heavier weight material if you wanted. I have a hoody that is at least two years old and it is quite faded ( i wear it all the time) but the print is still like new!!
  19. i spoted jnoon on my turf!! Out at holcome water, must have been visiting some mates i would have thought.
  20. went to change the anvils on my entec and found that somebody had already tried it before me. All but one was rounded out. the two small ones i heated up till they where really warm then smacked a spline bit in to the rounded hex head and they came out so easy. With the larger one we had to weld a nut on the top. Obviously it heated the existing bolt and i think that helped as i put a spanner on the nut and it came out a treat. all new bolts going back in.
  21. Could try klean kut out bridgewater way Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
