  1. WOWZER!!! they look blinding, and so does the price tag! but you get what you pay for me thinks!
  2. I hear what you are saying their bob. I have some great spot lights to go on the front but need an A/ nudge bar to hang them off, otherwise they look a bit silly. Was thinking more of a work lamp, durable with a good spread of light to assist with night time tree and farm work. What Flashers and beacons are people using?? To add to the kaos!
  3. I dont know about you but my time in arb has done some strange things to me. I have developed a fettish for work lights flashing beacons and hi-viz!! the more the better!! Anyhow, enough about my nocturnal activities, i am after some work lights for my truck. Obviously if i had loads of money i could buy some top of the range jobs but i am after the best value for money. What do you guys recommend or use??? Maybe some pictures of your trucks as well. Happy Days...
  4. Meat, but the limited funds to start up has meant that it will take a while to get it off the ground. Just a bit disheartening pumping a lot of money in at the moment with no return- it will come thou (i hope). my pygmy goats on the other hand. they pay for them selves. A couple of them are due to kid any time now. Going back to the meat. I have had loads of prospective interest, none from minority groups. The meat has a similar amount of protein as beef with a fraction of the saturated fat!! To be honest i would sooner pump the money into my tree work. We have approx £4k worth of goats... that could have been better spent on a chipper!!! The missus doesnt agree
  5. starting a goat farm. although i cant really call it a job as there doesnt seem to be any income at the moment, a lot of spending thou!!
  6. check all the bulbs first and the contacts then the fuses. If you think its the towing side i would take the towing socket off, maybe its shorting out inside. If that doesnt come up with anything then you got to start searching around.
  7. i used to use one on a regular basis. Amazing piece of kit, would definitely buy one if i had the funds available!
  8. yeah, although it has only got one small patch of welding on the sill, i had heard that they are prone to rust. i think it has been wax oiled in the past which may of helped it thus far. will have a better idea of the situation when i get it home this eve.
  9. O and it was £2100
  10. I have put deposit down on a 2002 isuzu pick up. 80k miles years mot 6 months tax. And super clean and tidy. Much better than some of the other toot that I was looking at

  15. i thought i had found the truck for me. sadly it is just out of my price range!! daihatsu midget 11 advertising van ad van "rare" | eBay
  16. I have sold my trusty daihatsu fourtrak in the hope of buying a pick up. In an ideal world I want a club cab type affair but looking at some prices that aint gona happen. Doesn't seem to be much in my price bracket near me, somerset although I am willing to travel, with reasonable milage! They dont half hold there money!
  17. hello. I went to blow out my 660 today and noticed i had lots of saw dust on the air filter bafel bit of plastic. is there suposed to be an o ring or rubber gasket on the base of the filter??
  18. I have been told that they have heavy duty plating underneath meaning the sump wont be taken out on stumps etc.
  19. have you got a ladder rack? we used to drill large holes in the top corners at the front of the side and front boards then run a rope right through them and the ladder rack. Then drill a hole in the ply (to the rear) just above the ifor sides and tie that to one of the hooks underneath. job done
  20. i think there is a knack to mewp work. so on your first attempt you may find it slolwer. once you have it dialed i find it less fatiguing
  21. Hello. Had my friend do a job for me today with his tracked timberwolf... When putting/ shoving the brash in it was not pulling it in very well and at times you had to wrench the branches about to get them to chip. This is different to when I first used the chipper a few years ago when it smash anything you to get to the rollers! It is on about 1200 hours and I was wondering if the springs on the feed rollers would be the issue? You can pull the springs out of there seat with no trouble at all! Any thoughts or experience of this problem? Thanks mark

I am a keen kayaker. Never been to hot on team sports- i would say it is because i dont relying on others when in actual fact it is that i am crap at most of them!!
  23. think about that knarly thorn hedge that needs topping off, head hight, under th lv- o and its three spans long. yeah pass me the keys to the mewp!!
  24. like i said tdc, at least in my budget, a super cab seems to demand a higher price. i was looking around for one a month ago and the cheapest 55 plate l200 clubcab i could find was 5k!!! thats pretty much 5x my budget! but that would be with in the OP's budget.
