  1. johny walks into the the back room of the church to find the priest shaking hands with the governor of love. 'What are you doing reverend?' The priest replies ' Well Johny i am masturbating, soon you will be doing this'. 'Why'? said Johny 'because my wrist is killing me!'

  4. i had him on a job last week. he only charged £50 per day, supplied his own saws and gear. i thought he was mad charging 50 per day but one of the first things he did was put a banjo case out the front o the truck A large crowd formed out the front, after 10mins of watching the loose change started to roll to the amount of £200. apparently he advertises where he is going to be cutting, like tour dates. he has a good following. he recons the following is that good he wont have to charge soon, the donations will be more than enough

  11. I had the runway enduros on my fourtrak and found them to be mainly pants in most situations. Pants in mud, they just get clogged up. Seriously lively in the wet, if you want to stop forget it, just steer for the hedge.
  12. Well I had to register self employed because somebody needed my utr number and it was a lot of work. Hoping to go full time self employed and ditch the empoyment as I had a eureka moment and worked out that I am on £65 a day before tax!!! Everybody loves working on the powerlines!!!!
  13. I am in my first year of self employment. I am also employed 5 days a week so just self employed àt the weekends. A self assesment tax return seems pretty daunting at the momoent.
  14. I did post leaflets some years ago when I used to do gardening, was quite successfull then but I was also too cheap.
  15. Hello, I am looking do up some a5 flyers to post door to door. I was wondering what sort of information do people include? Maybe you could post some examples. Cheers mark
  16. get the jensen 750 contractor. that thing is a sabre tooth tiger in cats clothing!! i suspect it is a bit pricey thou
  17. Those mulching blades are the bomb, next best thing to napalm!!!!!
  18. Yeah I use a chainsaw for mashing down brambles, when I don't have my brushcutter. It is far more efficent using a decent sized brushcutter stihl fs400 of bigger with the oregon bramble head. I have clearedlaerge plots down to mulch in no time at all. I can get through 1-2 inch trees and scrub with the bramble blade and bigger with the tri blade.
  19. 90 applicants is a low number compared to some of the numbers I have heard of (not forestry thou) A good work ethic will put you streets ahead of othere applicants. I offer to do a days work unpaid so the prespective empoyer can see how willing and capable I am.
  20. i buy 25l. lasts me 1-2 months easy to move around i just chuck the barrel in the back of the truck and take it to site to decant when i have run dry in the can.
  21. yes a chilling reminder how brutal this industry can be!!
  22. i have tryed me hand at making mushrooms. i find everyone likes the idea of having one but when it comes to parting with the cash it never happens.
  23. Open the top, release the springs then leaver the wood back out. Happens occasionaly on our jensen. More often than not it happens with dull blades.
  24. defo. looks good. shame we couldnt have one show casing the climbing scene in the uk.
  25. you cant educate pork! surely people cutting like this must be uneducated and i would hope they know no better. i learned what pruning cuts where in my first job and was backed up with a college course that i joined a few years later. I suppose that people never learned the correct technique so that is why they commit these massacres.
