  1. Get on ebay. Cabstar breakers UK. He'll sort you out a second hand set
  2. Yes by nearly a foot I would say.
  3. Surely he must of noticed the cizzer slur? Or had he caught you before you had your morning tipple 😆
  4. Ha ha vert funny Jon. I would be going loopy!
  5. Need to get a rear anti roll bar bush kit for mine. Local factors said blue print listed them but they were unavailable. Maybe have to go to main dealer.
  6. If you can feel it in the steering. King pins? Anti roll bar links or mountings? The bar that goes from the steering box to the Hub , has two ball joints on?
  7. A great post Adam. Agree with a lot of the replies. Yes colleges are partly to blame for the false thoughts of being 5he rocks tar climber with a pick up and chicks draped all over it. A lot of people moan about them keeping prices down etc etc good luck too anyone trying there luck. I have been employed and it was easy going but I wanted more, my pants wages and low overheads made it easy for me to take the leap. It takes a lot of courage, stupidity on some people's part, to go self employed. If someone has not thought it through properly and put in the ground work they probably won't last very long. But for me it's panning out alright. #LivingTheDream. And yes if your just a gun for hire ie a top handle and some ropes you are probably a little bit limited.
  8. Sorry i thought the OP was wanting to run the chipper off of the landrover engine. Car/ truck engines are not designed the same as tractor/ plant style engines - as some chap explained to me in great length once. But i can see the weight advantages of running the chipper on back of the truck. Means you could run a short truck rather than the super rig transit!
  9. had an irish gentleman approach me yesterday offering generators etc in minehead. Long wheel base high top nissan van on irish plates.
  10. No, short answer. I think this has been discussed before in a thread. If you got a tractor use that!
  11. local chap had a tool vault thing inside his container, then disc cut some way then used a bar to bend it open. Not sure what the answer is for all this theft- maybe jack it in and become a water diviner. Just a couple of coat hangers, cheap and easy to replace.
  12. you tried cabstar breakers uk down in ilminster?
  13. i had to clean my tank out as it had load of crap in it and quickly blocked the new clean filters.
  14. yes i will agree escort van (non turbo) slow as hell and would struggle to make 70 on the incline. i got a corsa 1.3cdti 90k miles, little rocket. apparently the diesel pump goes on them but that only costs 150. good mpg thou!
  15. i would look at the fuel side. i had a similar problem. start the machine fine runs but then so much crud was in the filter it would start to get sucked in and that would kill the machine. once the vacuum has gone some of the crud floats away from the filter- letting you start it again- and then it all starts again.
  16. The 528 is a good chipper if it is well serviced etc. Strong money at 7k especially with the brushed on paint work!
  17. perhaps poor people have to sacrifice more of the basics in life to keep their habit going. Where as the better off person can still afford deodorant as well as the drugs
  18. i would agree with that. Lots off different types using. flakey bastuards
  19. i think compulsory drugs testing will result in half the work force (in some companies) being sacked. i am against any drugs at work. i have worked with people who used it recreationally in the evenings and weekends etc. 'Doesnt affect me' would often be the response i would get but i can most definitely say it does. the users are lethargic and have unpredictable mood swings. At the very least we should group them up so they can all fell trees on each other and leave the rest of us out of it.
  20. Had some lava java, think it was by Taylors. Pretty punchy stuff
  21. Brilliant stuff. As said perfect placement.
  22. Yeah I'll take me chances. Pretty rural where I am
  23. if i know i have a delivery coming i always put a note on my door stating where i would like the parcel to be left. Always worked out thus far
  24. i got the same problem. Send clark an email they will disscuss the issue with you. i've been needing to return a call from them for a while.
  25. lug all winch
