  1. Well it the chain is good but unfortunately the nose sprocket has broken up on the sugi bar! Didn't even last a month!! Perhaps I should have stuck with oregon!!! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. I would sooner buy a second hand blower, that will be invaluable on most jobs, then feck arse about with some drainage pipe and a whisk taped in the end! even one of the cheaper Chinese ones would do the job untill more funds permit an up grade. Not sure how people operated BB (Before Blower) although I am sure a broom would have been good enough Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Need/ want to hook some of my vehicles up with the amber repeaters on the front and back. I would need a few so the britax ones at £50 each would be a considerable investment if you 10!! I was wondering if anybody has come across a cheaper light that is nice and bright. Have seen a few advertised on amazon but don't want to purchase dim duffers. Cheers Mark Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. I would just use a blower Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Tri with the pointy down ends like in original pic. I thought it would be the boy but prefer the double ender!!! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. I have used the tri mulching blade and found it to be pants. Much prefer the double my self Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. I just don't like people in general so I think a house share would send me into a mental brake down. Have done it in the past but it was a bit of an alcohol fuel party 7 nights a week. Seemed like a right laugh in hindsight but I was probably the only one chipping in for the rent. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. I used to climb on a distel with a ring to ring cambium saver then got a art rope guide. Couldn't believe the difference!! Massive saving on friction. My hitch did start to slip and then went on to a lock jack, my life has never been the same since!!! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Spring 2017 is the earliest date according to post by jamie on treebuzz. Looks like i will be buying some more friction cord to tie me over!!
  10. i would only be running an old hilux (even older than my mk4) if it was sporting a v8. my 2.4td is sooooooooooo slow cant Imagen driving one of the old non turbo units!!!
  11. check out the good year wrangler duratrac. Bit more aggresive than AT's, which i found to be pants in the mud.
  12. i would vote for the sip inovation, damn near half the price of the gladiator. Outer is a lot stronger than the hiflex and the crotch lasts well.
  13. Got the rope guide but cant make any comparison with the pulley saver. Easy to use and i have never got it stuck, yet. feels solid and i have one with a massive strop so i can go around some sizeable timber. Wouldn't be with out it
  14. Well havent been using it that much. Its first outing was loggin up down the yard was cutting really well until i mutilated the cutters on a stone in some timber. Sharpened it back up by hand no problem but took the rakers down a touch as i had to go back a bit on the cutters but it is a little aggressive at the moment.
  15. An essential for the bottom roller.
  16. I would swing the top roller up and give it a tickle with an angle grinder that will help. if the spring tension is too tight then you struggle to get larger diameter stuff through the rollers.
  17. It's just the cord. if a ce product was not in the pipeline I would just take any one of the ansi options out there. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Cutting on like a boss! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Got a cut and climb, cut is good but that has leaked from new. Got a desert camo jacket goretex apparently. like wearing a tent and i dont think it gives a very good impression but it is the driest jacket i have had thus far and probably the cheapest. A bonus that the collar fits over my chainsaw helmet as well
  20. You'll be lucky if it stays waterproof till christmas!! Had one the cut was good but got hot quickly and water repelancy didnt last long
  21. Hoping i am not going to have any problems but we will find out soon enough!!
  22. It was nothing against the op but the people such as myself that reply and don't really help Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Sticking to 15inch as I thought the saw felt and performed well so wouldn't go by longer. Been using a still ms241 with a 14 inch bar and it's great but I miss the extra inch![emoji16] Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. another my tyres are the best thread.... I have Good Year Wrangler Duratracs not very common in the UK but on a recent trip to the states they were on nearly every truck!! All terrain pattern up the centre with wider mud style tread on the outer. Have been serving me proud for the past 25k miles and still going.
